Thomas A (nl) wrote: A bland romantic period drama that starts off interesting enough, as there are a lot of early 20th-century poetry, paintings, and music involved. However, staying for the whole 100 minutes duration of the film is a regrettably sour experience. The love story is transformed into complete disarray, as the Murphy's law went into full effect in the most painful way possible (without having to go into the horror genre). Dominic Cooper, Dan Stevens, and Emily Browning gave great performances, but apart from that, this film is not worth watching unless you have a masochistic streak.

Ariel V (br) wrote: The music was awesome! And loved the movie.

Matina S (it) wrote: This is a hilarious film loosely based on the imprisonment of Marquis de Sade. What makes this hilarious is all of the characters are puppets, and the Marquis' penis constantly talks him into fornication.

Josiah B (br) wrote: Expertly directed, acted, shot, etc. The only glaring defect is the ending, which feels like a total cop-out. I was with it until the last 10 minutes.

Danny T (de) wrote: this movie is hilarious, one of the best 80's b-movies i've ever seen. i think it was written by a horny 12 year old

Tobias M (br) wrote: His 2nd picture and first with studio involvement is filmed with a more conventional shooting style than his first "Shadows" (1959). There lurks the moments of the off-eyeline and not direct cutting that I love about his style, which gives his other films a rough and ready quality, but most of "Too Late Blues" is constructed in a safe manner. He once said if a scene is a good scene, it doesn't matter how you cover it, which I think to be a nice premise but also a very bold statement. There are great performances, especially in one key scene, A classic theme of a man leaving behind his friends to attain glory after being humiliated, but after realising his errors of pride can never recreate what they had, with or without them.

Borhan K (de) wrote: Draft Day was a movie about American Football I have to say i am not a big fan of the NFL but I became a fan of this film me and the Mrs sat down and watch this as well and were amazed at the storyline and what actually goes on behind the scenes on draft day in football. If your a fan of the NFL watch this flick although not much actual football scenes this is more about the management side. The ladies will like it because of the family connection the movie has.The guys will like it cause of the football.Again something all can watch young kids may find this boring.

Simon D (it) wrote: The story is ok if a little basic. The film was ruined by boring scenes of driving and by the fact that the main man was a little annoying. A gimp like him would never pull a ripper like his missus anyway so a bit of mismatched casting thown in too.

Robert D (ca) wrote: With Meryl Streep and Jeff Bridges, this film on a dystopian future had potential. Not bad for a slow afternoon, but in other hands it could have been fine indeed.

Prattay S (jp) wrote: a good film for children
