Evangelos C (mx) wrote: Lots of liberty which moves away from a well-structured animation, but gives a few very entertaining gags that could be hard to fit into the script otherwise.Still, the overall tone reeks of 'another kids movie'. Like guidelines lead to a major portion of the script, full with expression sheets and storyboard examples. The boy and his parents are especially one-dimensional, including an annoying montage where the character-lacking characters realize how awesome they are together, with a bombardment of 'realization' looks.Perhaps going even more in the carefree direction, away from plot, the sort of stuff that generally makes movies good... would've made for a better movie. More in the spirit of those wolf moments that make absolutely no sense but were fun to watch. As it is, the film falls uncomfortably in the middle. Fortunately there's lots to enjoy, even love, so it's certainly worth checking out when the better stuff gets out of the way.

Bonnie B (kr) wrote: "Next Level" gets really, really old, but watching Frankie Muniz get tortured is kind of worth it. Other than that, the musical number at the end, and Matthew Lillard's commentary between skits, are the highlights of this movie. If it's on, it might be watched. If not, I'm not seeking it out.

Robert C (ag) wrote: Delightful mystery drama with four fantastic performances by Pearce, Ronan, Spall and Jones... Ronan in particular is delightful whilst Pearce is typically magnetic as Houdini, entertaining, romantic, beautiful and engaging...

Elton G (gb) wrote: The tone changes from lighthearted to dark, the CGI improves by a lot, and the story-line becomes more interesting. The acting and the set pieces remain of the same caliber, so it's a step ahead of the first two HP movies.

Paul R (kr) wrote: An underappreciated genre piece that works thanks to the charisma of the two leads.

Paul C (es) wrote: A childhood favourite - but then how could it not be when it mixed cowboys and dinosaurs. Gwangi is another classic of stop-motion animation cinema - but even he isn't as fearsome as the old blind gypsy woman and her mischievous midget henchman!

JH K (ca) wrote: Bien interpretada y... y ya. Ni siquiera el ritmo ayuda, dos interminables horas esperando que algo pase para que te enven a tu casa sin nada. No veo la gracia a eso de no acabar la pelcula que has empezado.

Sulien S (gb) wrote: Most historically accurate film to come out of Hollywood. I love everything about this movie.
