Rich S (kr) wrote: I love this movie! It's musical remake of The Women, that doesn't actually confuse itself with the original and instead focuses on an amazingly high camp quotient that is like an injection of junk food straight into your brain! Joan Collins is nasty fun as Crystal, and I love love love Dolores Gray as Sylvia! Totally fun and 50's to the core! Have fun watching it if you can actually find it anywhere!
Leo B (gb) wrote: I saw this last night on Netflix. It stars Brendan "the mummy" Fraser as a devoted dad trying to find a cure that does not exist for his ill kids who were born with a rare disorder. Based on a true story. Harrison Ford is the doctor who can help him but is difficult to deal with. Brendan impress in a serious role while Ford is his grouchy self like he seems to be all the time now. It's a sad movie to watch but it has that made for TV feel as well but it's still watchable from start to finish . The little girl is adorable and the mom is played by the last planet of the apes female lead. 3 out of 5 stars.
Justin M (ag) wrote: Jocko Sims did his thing in this one. Interesting subject matter told in an interesting way. The film jumps back and forth between present day and B&W childhood flashbacks thats show and explain how the main character got to the point of suicide. This ones got an ending though. BAM! Right in the face wasn't expecting it.

Andrew L (ag) wrote: Hugely in-accurate, Hopelessly dire, made me laugh more than anything. Wolfgang Peterson has made some of the worst films I have ever seen since moving to Hollywood. The only decent thing he's done was 'Das Boot', which was brilliant.
Brad R (ca) wrote: In "Company Business", writer/director Nicholas Meyer makes a commendable effort to create a tightly plotted, top-of-the-line Hollywood thriller, but the whole affair unfortunately falls flat. Plagued with the need for constant re-writes (due to the changing political scene in Russia at the time) and a rather uncooperative lead by Gene Hackman (who wanted to bow out of production a mere two weeks before principle photography began), Meyer was left with a screenplay that only sort of makes sense and a film that only sort of works. Some sequences are a hit (e.g. the opening caper sequence and a tense exchange in the Berlin subway), while others... not so much. I still enjoyed "Company Business", it's just sad to know how much better it could've been.
Christopher S (us) wrote: It has a pretty awkwardly-plotted first act, and is not without its cheesy moments. But once it hits its stride, it becomes a solid sci-fi/horror thriller, thanks to director Donald Cammell's tense filmmaking, a solid central performance by Julie Christie, and some generally unsettling science-fiction ideas - even if it never quite reaches its full potential. Great score by Jerry Fielding.
Samuel B (br) wrote: Awesome jewel thief movie because it was one of the first of its kind! A group professional thieves takes on a the challenge of stealing a valuable knife from one of Turkey's big museums. Along the way they recruit the unlikely but likable Peter Ustinov, and a not so serious adventure begins. Great shots of Istanbul in the 1960's, makes me want to visit.
Craig C (nl) wrote: HG Wells predicts the Second World War and creates post-Apoocalyptic cinema with a script worthy of Asimov or Heinlein. The SFX may be dated, but the ideas are just as relevant today. A masterpiece.
Caitlin L (mx) wrote: Much better than the original. He is so funny in this movie.
Sandra M (mx) wrote: Riggs and the ski chases not withstanding, the writing was trite and the editing was horrible. I can't believe this rated so high!
Eric H (es) wrote: This is what horror and urban legends are about, and this film dares to take those stories and form them as a device for a slasher stalking people along a college campus using those devices but ultimately what large potential there is for a concept with many possibilities, it is ultimately thrown down the drain with your usual slasher movie fodder and terrible story with the cheesy surprise ending and large lapses in logic. Otherwise, it's a pretty good way to kill time.
