Devon A (ca) wrote: Very intellectual and interesting film. The animation styles used in the film work effectively with the different types of scenes throughout the film. Definitely not for children. It is refreshing to see an animated film based upon a more adult theme. This film gives an interesting view on the struggles in the world of cats. Overall I highly suggest checking out the film, though there are some violent themes some may not be comfortable with. I suggest reading the book as well.

Martin T (au) wrote: A campy sci-fi spoof, with a dash of light social commentary. It's rather silly, especially with the absurd futuristic touches and James Bond-ish action, but obviously deliberately so. I can't imagine anyone really adoring this movie, but it's a fun diversion. I have to wonder if this is where Mike Myers got the Austin Powers idea for girls who shoot bullets from their breasts.

BJ W (ru) wrote: Gotta love it when Zatoichi goes all hand of justice on some poor bastards.

Santiago M (ca) wrote: A film with an interesting and entertaining plot, supported by great performances. It has a very good setting, flowing into the storyline and providing a rich product to the viewers. It is not a movie for every audience though; an economic based plot seems flat and boring, but this film takes a turn on that and delivers perfectly. It's definitely a very well done product, and a must-see film.

Steve G (br) wrote: Interesting, but a lot of forgettable scenes.
