Cyn Z (es) wrote: Very intense film. Jackson amazing as usual as a bad ass teacher. Smart cinematographic choices to emphazise moods and good script.

Joel A (mx) wrote: The 'some what factual' true story of Sonny W (The Woo Woo Kid) ...I think if this story is true it only would have happened in California.Patrick Demsey really held his own on this film despite it being not to amazing. It was interesting but seemed a bit far fetched in parts. Quite a cool look & style this film had set just after WW2.Both love interests gave great supporting roles, but overall it was silly to make this boy famous for his love affairs, goes to show how trivial media will be just to have a so called 'scoop'....

Ben S (mx) wrote: John Wayne is Hondo, a despatch rider who befriends a deserted rancher and her son, who are threatened by an Apache uprising. A shadow falls over the relationship when Hondo later kills her errant husband in self defence. A superior western, perhaps a little too low key to be a true classic, but very watchable. The side-plot involving Apache chief Vittorio is handled pretty sensitively for the time.

Ian R (mx) wrote: Probably Brook's best "film" in that it is a full-fledged Frankenstein movie only with some silliness. I appreciate the lack of ethnic humour and 4th wall breaking that he usually succumbs to. Still holds up well, although not the revelation it was then. Just a well-made movie with light spoofiness and more emphasis on character and plot comedy.
