(fr) wrote: It doesn't reinvent the wheel or anything, but it's a fun little action flick about hillbilly thugs letting their mouths overloads their asses when it comes to picking on the new guy in town and his daughter and I really enjoyed itI do have a hard time seeing James Franco as a big threat though, he's just a bit milquetoast in the face of Staham's swagger.Worth a rental for sure.

(es) wrote: Fun and funny. "Messages" abound in the simplistic script and that is not a bad thing. Again, this movie was very funny and for all the right reasons.

It's funny without being stupid. It's cliched but real at the same time. I found myself laughing and relating to some of the characters in a weird way that went beyong the normal sacharine, nauseating summer camp movies. It wasn;t cheap. Kids and adults can enjoy this. And it was silly and entertaining. I really need to see Heathers...it's like some sort of gay cardinal sin that I haven't. And for you who have seen this already, check out the movie Camp as well.
