With only a day left he decides to try and reconnect with his father James (Brian Cox). He has a get together with his two best friends from back in the day Frank (Berry Pepper) a wall street worker and Jacob (Philip Seymour Hoffman) a timid english professor. He also tries to help his girlfriend Naturelle (Rosario Dawson) come with terms with him leaving (even though she might have been the one who tipped off the DEA). The movie is well acted and really plays on how peoples emotions are connected and how certain events will let the real you come out. It's about saying goodbye to a place you a hate and a place that hates you back, but how there is still so much sorrow in doing something like that especially a place you've called home for so long. It's well done and is a somber film, but I highly recommend giving this one a look!
David B (ca) wrote: well i was hoping these two canadians would be funny at least but they aint there pretty stupid and annoying, the whole movie is pretty much a pile of crap i was hoping for more considering michael dowse was director and he directed and wrote its all gone pete tong, which is really good. my advice would be to watch trailer park boys movie instead they have hilarious and loveable characters.
