Sunny M (br) wrote: All the pretty bodies (and that doesn't include McC's which wasn't), could NOT make up for McC's put on accent, stilted conversation and no plot. Didn't make it past the first newbies first night as the gopher. I like looking at Tatum, but he should stick to GI Joe, where's he's actually pretty good.McC needs to stick to Lincoln commercials. Iglesias to comedy.

Forrest P (ru) wrote: 5 STARS: This is the 2nd film that I have seen that deals with the Nazi(TM)s rounding up of the Jews that were in Paris in 1942. The other was Sarah(TM)s Key?. While that movie was also excellent, I would say that this one is better. There are more characters involved in this, and oh my God, this is a tearjerker near the end! I could actually hear people crying in the theater near the end of this film, it is so emotionally and beautifully well done. Even though the subject is dark, the scenery is colorful and he cinematography is excellent. I would recommend this if the subject is not to deep for you to handle, it(TM)s well worth the ride.

Wends D (es) wrote: Charming little Aussie flick... kinda like a movie version of "The Secret Life of Us". The topic of the dilemma over leaving an Aussie city was very accurately covered, and I enjoyed the artistic liberty the film took in its style & flashbacks.

Anthony M (us) wrote: Everything about this film is just amazing! By far, the most extraordinary film from Pixar!

Scott A (ca) wrote: I really loved this movie. Anyone that was a drama geek or band nerd would appreciate the story behind "Camp." I very much enjoyed Daniel Letterle as the lead character and thought that the character was very adorable. I say it's worth a rent. I might even go out and buy this movie.

Steve K (mx) wrote: I have refrained from including small, independent movies on my worst-of-all-time list; but this has been on it since I first saw it in 1982 and it's always the first that comes to mind. The basic plot is "Invisible aliens in a tiny flying saucer come to Earth looking for heroin. They land on top of a New York apartment inhabited by a drug dealer and her female, androgynous, bisexual nymphomaniac lover, a fashion model." Actually, that description sounds so absurd, that it could have been a funky, quirky gem--which is why I went to see it in the first place. What it ends up being is student-film level pretentious and amateurish. It's also impossible to watch.

Connor B (ca) wrote: Good film, but feels less and less exciting as my love for the original film grows.

Simon P (br) wrote: Contains actual footage and a sickening scene portraying one soldier's casual enjoyment of ethnic cleansing. An emotional tale from the Bosnian conflict, this is a well made docudrama but it's neither as hard-hitting nor surprising as a sniper's bullet through the head. Powerful at times, though.
