(us) wrote: Gaspard is okay, when it comes to filling in the shoes of Hannibal. His acting was solid at times, but pretty bad at other times and the same can be said about Gong Li. Dominic West was the only standout here delivering quality work. The editing is okay and this kind of felt like 2 different movies at times. This does show real rise of hannibal, and it up to you decide if it is done well or not. Overall it is a decent watch, especially if you are a Hannibal fan.

(br) wrote: I thought this was gonna be way better from the description, which described it as being about two girls who come from a troubled neighbourhood in the mid 90s and have issues with eachother and really delves into the 90s alternative scene and shit. But it wasn't really that great. Lesbian activity though for those who watch movies just to see that kinda thing. Cole Hauser is awesome.

(br) wrote: ok movie but I don't think I'll ever watch it again, it was an ok movie and Rick Moranis starred in it, I expected better from this movie, I don't want to see this movie ever again, I don't want it on DVD

In fact, the tension comes immediately and makes the plot little bit confusing and dropped instantaneously at the ending. However, "Coldwater" still gives us an interesting stuff to watch.
(ca) wrote: I really liked this, way better than I expected, with a solid story, fantastic scenery and amazing (just stunning) underwater camera work. Sure its still basically just a virtual vacation action movie with gratuitous ass shots, like excessive, close up (very sexy) ass shots but whatever, everybody looks good and the underwater stunts and intriguing story made up for it. Paul Walker (sigh) plays a diver/treasure hunter who along with his girlfriend (uber sexy Jessica Alba) find themselves battling sharks and ruthless criminals after discovering a historic ship wreck and a sunken cargo plane loaded with cocaine.I actually got quite wrapped up in the story, especially since I used to live in the Caribbean and dated a dive instructor. The island life is well portrayed and while sadly my boyfriend was no Paul Walker (who is) he does a good job here. Everybody looked so relaxed underwater here considering the extreme stunts they had to get through. Scott Caan is essentially his "Danno" character but I enjoyed the moral dilemma he and his girlfriend created. Great shark attack and just all-round sexy thriller of a movie I'll probably watch again. 9/11/14

(it) wrote: Top Gun is an action film, directed by Tony Scott, and stars Tom Cruise, Kelly McGillis, and Val Kilmer in a story that's about some of the pilot students being very good, and they go to Top Gun to become the best so that they go up against people. I hear so much about Top Gun in high school that I recorded it just so I see why people loved it so much, and while I can sort of see why, but I think it'll probably not hold up as much as they think it was. The acting is fine in this, nothing really special going on with this film. The flying scenes are probably the best part of the film as it looks really entertaining to watch planes go around each other and start battling. The characters are very generic and I found them very forgettable honestly. The romance is fine also, although I don't necessarily buy the chemistry for Tom Cruise and his love interest who was honestly there just to be a love interest for him. There are a lot of cheesy moments in this movie, and there are some fun stuff in there that I was entertained in this. The best part of the film actually, is the soundtrack by Harold Faltermeyer with two memorable songs that I'll remember for a long time which are Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins, and Take My Breath Away by Berlin. Overall, Too Gun is a decent film, but I wouldn't go out and talk about this a lot though, and it's overrated in my opinion.
