David F (ru) wrote: Slow, uneventful, and explicit European film about a very close father-daughter relationship, 'Hemel' charms with its ritzy settings of concert halls and auction houses but it doesn't do much with the uncomfortable subject matter.

Cardo D (jp) wrote: Me gust, me entretuvo todo el tiempo y me encant el final.

Sylvester K (ca) wrote: Boring... misleading title that confuses the audience. I honestly did not feel attached to any of the characters nor understand what I just watched

Jessie N (it) wrote: A moving film which touches on how love can surpass ethnicity and religion. Sometimes we're so preoccupied by our burdens that we've forgotten how to be happy: to BE happy. I've yet to know more about sufism in Islam, but the universality it suggests has impressed me.The original novel by ric-Emmanuel Schmitt should be worth-reading as well. I've read a little part of it (in French... quite demanding for me), but I'm guessing this film follows the original novel quite closely.

Kenny N (br) wrote: When Daniel Stern doesn't want anything to do with it, you know this movie's going to be bad. Man, at this point, the "Home Alone" franchise's main players had seen better days. Maklakey (as they called him in "Spy Hard") was a Hollywood outcast, Joe Pesci was in exile after starring in "Gone Fishin'" (a movie that is so stupid you'll be lucky to not get an aneurysm from watching it). and Daniel Stern wasn't up to much but apparently he had better things to do than get hit with bricks and severely electrocuted for a 3rd time. I say 3rd because the actual 3rd movie in the franchise that changed children's filmmaking forever had no relation to 1, 2, or 4. As a matter of fact...this one has no relation to 1 or 2, really. Everything (and I mean everything) has changed. Kevin is suddenly older than his brother Buzz, Marv's appearance has been drastically altered, and the love and affection that Catherine O'Hara and John Heard's characters showed for one another in the first two movies (the one thing that grounded the first film in some type of reality) has been replaced by divorce. If you've come to this movie looking for more of those world famous tricks and traps...there are only 3 and 1/2 this time. Seriously? You're not even going to let the fans who've endured 1 ok movie and 2 terrible ones feast on what is the bread and butter of this franchise (which is dumb adults getting pulverized by smart kids)? Then why even make this film?! What was the point of this? If you're not going to put dangerous booby traps in your "Home Alone" film, then why even call it "Home Alone?!" I give this -5 stars. I didn't think it could get much worse than the 3rd movie, but it apparently can (and it gets more pointless too!)

Jonathan S (kr) wrote: This was really good, and that it was based on a true story made it all the better.

Drew S (nl) wrote: I watched it on IFC...as usual. I don't know why I liked it so much. Everything about the movie made me want more...especially the sex scene, jk.

Masuud Q (es) wrote: Probably one of the best youth movies around, at the time when I watched that is!Not bad anyway!

Eric H (de) wrote: Let me start with this: It was like a good feelin '90's movie for me. I claim and believe they created the naive 90's soul searching youngsters in 20 somethings theme in a way.Above all, the sub stories caught me: Anna and 'the high school ''crushed'' still living with it Tpaper guys' and they have 'the glow', also the black wannabee with nice moves sub story works. The story is overall good. I thought it was going to be the American crazy reunion party with lotta booze, lies and nothing, which proved me wrong. Still, acting usually was not the best for me. What was that! Have some souls! I liked the movie but, please, we don't know the characters. It was directing, mostly on characters that gave you kinda C+.By the way, writing a song to the girl you... cheesy, you got it so I loved it.

Casey K (de) wrote: I don't know why people hate this movie, what's not to like. This movie I found hilarious and very enjoyable.

Anand K (nl) wrote: One of those dumb movies where no matter where you go the bad guy knows right where you are and can appear and disappear at will. I suggest someone this incredibly adept would have a better job than truck driver.
