Can't there be anyone who is utterly perfect?"What an odd combination of a slasher, dance numbers, surfing, cross-dressing, split-personalities, a murder mystery, and campy humor. I only chose to see Psycho Beach Party because of the presence of a young Amy Adams, who I will watch absolutely any movie for. Without her, I wouldn't have had much of a reason to finish this. I love campy, cult movies, but Psycho Beach Party didn't particularly amuse me. It wasn't bad, but this movie is really only worth seeing if you're a fan of the cast (which includes Lauren Ambrose, Thomas Gibson, and Kathleen Robertson), and for the cheesy, awesome ending. Watch the trailer, it should give you an excellent idea of whether this is for you.

I kinda figured out the "code" before they explained it simply because they kept mentioning things and I figured it had to be important. Although you kinda know who is telling the truth it's interesting to see how she reacts to being kidnapped.

Ryan B (mx) wrote: Incredible performance by Pacino highlights this film about acting and performance that is both heart-breaking and inspiring. It's difficult to articulate what I loved so much about this film; it's basis in the profession of acting is highly personal to me and was a clear reminder of why I was once interested in becoming an actor. Dare I say I found this film more emotionally effective in conveying the isolation and loneliness of being a performer than in the similarly themed BIRDMAN.

Paul D (mx) wrote: Man, this film was terrible... I could not believe how bad it was... Nothing was funny thats just the start for this horrible comedy... The acting was not only bad, but appalling. Who ever thought of actually finishing this movie and put it on the market should be shot. This has got to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen...
