Scott S (fr) wrote: Actually a lot of fun, a sort of tightly knit college buddy movie, only its with a bank heist. Very surprisingly good.

Mark H (kr) wrote: There's an awful lot more going on in this film than you might expect. When the central character escapes the Russian prison camp in Siberia, you don't really expect to see him engaged in the various encounters that are written into the script--some are a little hard to believe. Otherwise, the story is pretty solid, based on actual events apparently. It is a little grisly like "Papillon" and you'll see some similarities with "Little big Man" and "Dances with Wolves" but ultimately, it stands on its own with the bleakness of the backdrop and the mix of cultures and languages.

Sam B (it) wrote: One of those movies you want to watch over and over just for the tone. The plot isn't much to look at, it's a pretty obvious metaphor for puberty, but the strain it puts on the sisters' relationship and the way they cope is well-thought out and entertaining.

Michael B (jp) wrote: Wow, how come I never heard from that movie before: Begnini at one of his best!

Jonathan R (gb) wrote: Fun, if a little cheesy.

Jake M (jp) wrote: A touching and inspiring true story, that shows even those strong in their faith can waiver when faced with supernatural occurrences.

Ben T (de) wrote: An ok sequel that has cool action sequences but gets all lost in its build-up and plot. There isn't a good balance of the good and bad elements and it sometimes feels like the same scene copied and pasted over. I will say though, this has one of the best "lead off to the credits" scenes I've ever seen. If that's the highest award I can give this then you know to check out something else. If you liked the first one or the book you may like this. If not, yeah, just watch something else.
