Nived N (es) wrote: I have never felt 90 minutes so long!!! PANKH is a disturbing tale of gender confusion and it's following neurotic disorder taking place in protagonist.THIS MOVIE IS THE BIGGEST SHAME to come out from Bollywood. Director has committed a cinematic crime by casting MARADONA REBELLO in the lead role, He 's too raw to be saddled with such important role. He lacks expression, pathetic dialogue delivery...and eventually fails to make an impressionThe fractured screenplay: The movie is provocative...no doubt but sadly in an exploitative way consisting crude language and excessive molestation scenes which were not at all required.Even the performance is let-down from each and every principal cast, LILLETE DUBEY, BIPASHA BASU, SANJEEDA SHAIKH, MAHESH MANJREKAR despite being reliable actors doesn't work. Overall! PANKH is overly styled with no substance at all...It is indeed a Big Big Big Shame to see a great story getting translated into a worst celluloid experience.....2 THUMB DOWN!!

Karen F (es) wrote: It's not tense because you don't care about any of them. In the end, I didn't even care who lived or died, I just wanted it to stop.

James B (kr) wrote: Failed to excite me. I found the plot a little bit dull and the speed of the narrative frustrating. Some decent shots of submarine footage for its time made me give it a high rating but I failed to find much exciting about this film. Howard Hughes famously watched this film 150 times, I really don't now how, oh yeah I do he was a nutter.

Luke W (it) wrote: Alongside Nosferatu (1922), Haxan (1922), The Phantom of the Opera (starring Lon Chaney) (1925) and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), it is one of the greatest and most important horror movies of the silent era, Victor Sjostrom's direction and the cinematography by Julius Jaenzon is very gritty, stunning and ghostly. This film takes you to another world, it has its utterly creepy moments, eerie performances by the characters and the most important thing on this movie, its morals. This is one of my favourite movies (it was also Ingmar Bergman's favourite movie!), the sets are amazing too. In retrospect, the storyline is very complex and ahead of its time and this movie could take you to another world. I give it a five stars, one thing I could say it is underrated compared to Nosferatu and it is just as good as Nosferatu (well in my eyes, anyway.)

John S (ca) wrote: Similar to Samurai Rebellion, Harakiri is a beautifully crafted tale with fascinating storytelling and strong imagery culminating in an explosive, awe-inspiring action climax.

ELENA G (ag) wrote: I was prepared for a lot of entertaining sillyness but this Hunter Kronos bored me as hell, couldn't go through the whole film, could possibly get better
