Brian K (gb) wrote: 8/10/02 - I was kind of disappointed by Waiting for Guffman. I liked Best in Show which was made by the same people. I had heard Guffman was supposed to be even better than Best in Show, but I was let down. I thought Guffman was OK, but not nearly as good as I thought it would be. It was a little funny in parts, but not as much as it could have been.

Shane J (fr) wrote: pretty naff with only a couple of gags that raised a smile. Its childish stuff but i even think kids will think wtf is this crap. i know damon wayans wrote all this stuff but he's really miss-cast in the lead the role just doesnt suit him,Jason alexanda is great as the boss though so over the top.the music is so 90's and bad!!
Conrad S (ag) wrote: You know that feeling when you watch a film so fundamentally broken, where even the sound editing is terrible, well this film is a perfect example of this. It's odd that a film based on a comic about the cold war could be so good, seeing the way that comics have been one of the few mediums to core nothing but gold in that field. It's very obvious that this film is made from several different stories, as each act holds a story that is never fully developed and never fully resolved. Lex Luthor is the most boring he's ever been. To improve, stop being so lazy, and actually make new footage!

Guillermo R (gb) wrote: Great story, really worth telling on a movie. Al Pacino is perfect, and the movie has good rhythm.
Kyle M (kr) wrote: It follows a similar structure of a storyline, but the horror series gets better and better in a nice change of setting with some fantasy action and little more comic, and more work into Campbell's performance. (B)(Full review coming soon)

Felipe F (nl) wrote: Although it does not live up to its predecessor, this fourth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise boasts cheesy special effects, sly humour, an action-packed sequence and the introduction of a new villain that shall please nostalgic fans.
Bill T (it) wrote: I MOSTLY enjoyed this movie, about a would-be terrorist threatening to blow up 3 nuclear bombs, and the fbi terrorism expert and another-expert-dont-want-to-spoil-that-for-you. Samuel L. Jackson takes a balls and all (ha!) approach to this one, what a huge risk. Ultimately, it's a bit too much grisly horror and a little too less plot. But some great suspenseful moments here..
Jonny C (gb) wrote: Good Thriller. The story is about a ex cop who now owns a business that cleans homicide or accidents scenes for police and family's who can not bare to clean up after a death. He is sent in to clean up a homicide which in turn makes him suspect a cover up. Samuel L. Jackson is on top form, with decent support from Ed Harris and Luis Guzman, and even though Cleaner gets a little slow, there's a worth while twist at the end.
