Brendan F (fr) wrote: Definitely an improvement over the first film. While it does take a little bit for the movie to kick in, it doesn't fail to disappoint when everything hits the fan. 3.8/5

Nol I (nl) wrote: If you are a fan of Victorian era steampunk, magic and archeology, this movie is really entertaining. The story flows and has a good ending.

John M (jp) wrote: A grand reclamation project to rewrite our history of the sit-com and the blacklist, among other topics, by presenting the extraordinary life and considerable work of Gertrude Berg. Berg wrote some 12,000 scripts over 17 years for radio and television to reflect on Jewish identity in her time. Ample footage from the paleotelevision era show a very ethnic show that took many a brave stand in the face of popular sentiment and world events. Interviews with Edward R. Murrow show a very canny and assimilated woman who inhabited the role for most of her waking hours. Her campaign to protect her costar Philip Loeb, accused of being a Communist seemingly for agitating for better working conditions and greater job security for actors, is amazing for its robustness while nonetheless tragic.Sure, the filmmaker employs the "talking-head" format quite often, but Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg and NPR's Susan Stamberg are capable of presenting their positions with authority.

Lisa C (br) wrote: It wasn't as good as the first one. It was okay. It was not a good movie.

Brent C (de) wrote: This concluding film about the French gangster Mesrine packs as much punch as the first film. If you like good crime drama do yourself a favour and watch the Mesrine films.

Daniel L (fr) wrote: I loved this film way more than I should've, Kevin Spaceys portrayal as Bobby Darin is Pitch perfect. This is a performance that just made me so invested in the film, making it funny, touching and his musical numbers sound identical to Darin's songs. I adored it.

Stella D (us) wrote: outlandish but loads of fun. the kind of film i thought they didn't make anymore: swashbuckling in grand style!

Colin R (jp) wrote: Pitch perfect cautionary youth tale about the consequences of falling into the wrong lifestyle, classic soundtrack, essential 90s urban drama.

Peter P (es) wrote: Really well done sequel to the first Dirty Harry movie. Clint Eastwood is right on point returning as Callahan, and it was kinda funny to see him as the guy with the moral center. The action and story are nice and tight, and the motorcycle/car chase is great.

Mary Kathryn P (ca) wrote: Maggie Smith automatically shines in any role she sets her sight upon. With Lady In The Van, the creative storytelling along with the story itself made for a unique cinematic experience, even if the film is a little too obvious on its theatre adaptation.
