John T (ca) wrote: I hate westerns, I hate the old west but this western in the old west was a fantastic film. A great cast with plenty of action. This is winner.
Mark V (es) wrote: This is a tremendous documentary about Freda Kelly, the secretary for the Beatles for 11 years. Provides an introspective look of the most famous Rock 'n Roll band of all time. Very interesting, while I was watching it I felt like I was having coffee with Freda at my kitchen table and she was telling me one story after another about her decade with the Beatles. Definitely worth a look if you grew up in this era.

Jason E (kr) wrote: very powerful story showing different stories to a racial conflict. What was interesting was how well the Director dealt with questions from the audience who wanted her to tell a more political story (and possibly to have taken sides) rather than provide a more impartial look at the human cost of conflict. Well done! -
Rachel N (ru) wrote: I found the whole 'uncle introducing his nephew to the world of women and sex' storyline a little awkward, however, still an enjoyable experience with brilliant performances and a very adorable Jesse Eiserberg.

Dylan P (us) wrote: A sprawling epic, however there's one flaw that takes off a half star. The prologue is very over the top. Low on emotion and dramatic tension. The rest of the movie is perfect-top notch design, thrilling, gritty and realistic performances (particularly the magnificent Daniel Day-Lewis) and splendid direction from Scorsese, arguably the greatest director of all time. Superb film, deprived of masterpiece status by the first 10-15 minutes.
Jeff B (au) wrote: Not bad of a movie. In fact it's very impressive compared some of Jean-Claude's recent work. However, Michael Rooker took this performance, and he was very good at it (as his usual Detective character). Though I wasn't thrill with how the sequencing turned out, nor did I really like how Jean-Claude's evil persona was nigh-invincible for 98% of the movie, Still I was entertained and I even found myself engrossed in some parts. The action was good and the suspense was good too, so we can count this as a win for our old friend, JCVD.
Andres G (mx) wrote: The chemistry between Witherspoon and Pattinson doesn't really work but the simple "man meets a woman" story works and Waltz nails his character as usual. This movie was a nice surprise.
