Interesting but mediocre crime drama, with an impressive sense of place

hy remake good movies when this is still collecting dust somewhere?. It's like watching Muppets wrestle. seriously, there's big hair everywhere. . . " Filled with cheesy plot devices and characters right out of "Scooby Doo" [Look for the old guy neighbor who HAPPENS to be an expert on the occult], a dunderhead of a script and one of the greatest (worst) late 70s catfights ever filmed. The film stars Linda Blair of "The Exorcist. Early TV-movie horror directed by Wes Craven [before he came to his senses and created Freddy Krueger] and based on a novel by Lois Duncan ("I Know What You Did Last Summer"). Before there was "The Craft" there was The Crap

But, Peter Boyle steals the show every time he's on-screen. Hummel character from "The Rock"--and Marlee Matlin and Blanca Guerra shine in their supporting roles. " Ed Harris is superb here--somewhat of a more extreme precursor to his Francis X. The perfect blend of "Apocalypse Now" insanity and cinematography right out of "The Wild Bunch

A good and funny movie. The realization that he may not be all her own and live at home is something difficult for her to take. This movie centers on a mother whom is a comedian and is noticing her son is getting old enough to have his attentions be on a young lady. This family with two children live in Australia. The Dwights are a family lead by the single and divorced mother (Blethyn). Introducing the Dwights is a good comedy starring the very delightful Brenda Blethyn

Basically throws the rules the previous two movies had set up out the windiw! Pinhead is a shadow of his former self, spouting blasphemous puns and creating technological Cenobites that are verging on the ridiculous

Variety magazine hailed the film as delivering 'more than its share of sex and violence' and does have, for the most part, credible characters. Seedy and gritty fare from Producer Roger Corman featuring a runaway teen forced to the street and her abusive, hot-headed pimp who exploits her
