Trae S (mx) wrote: You know what, this is a good movie. It's a good story and it's one of those movies you'll want to watch a few times when you're bored. I don't know if it's a must see but it is a good see.

Paul N (au) wrote: Miike's hugely exuberant, funny and shockingly cohesive (if customarily bonkers and bloated) game adaptation is a riot.

Diana S (it) wrote: Sophisticated, silly, and sexy.

Eric J (es) wrote: Longish and rather intricate, It tried to be a serious Holocaust film but was in reality considerably lighter than other productions. That having been said, the cast did a fine job.

Liam C (au) wrote: I actually thought Snake Eyes was pretty impressive and very smart. As everyone has mentioned, the film looked amazing and the first 20 minutes were remarkable. I liked the cast of Nicolas Cage and Gary Sinise they had some very good chemistry on set which makes the climax all the more hard to watch. If they weren't the main roles the film would have been boring. Gary's presence was strong and demanding and Cage was the lovably eccentric cop who was duty bound to solve the case. I liked the story and the way it unfolded but it could have been done better, but in what way I don't know. The music was good to and helped set the scene all the more. For taking place in one arena it was definitely good and I was never bored with it. The shooting happened a little too early for my liking but that being said the action never stopped and it kept me interested, the finale was a payoff, just as you think it could all go terribly wrong...

Simon W (nl) wrote: The Darkman series is the best direct to video series, much better than ones like the Crow or the Prophecy. This last one isn't as good as the ones before it because Larry Drake is a better villain than Jeff Fahey.

Chun W (gb) wrote: One of the best films with the 3 great martial art star team of all time! Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao and Jackie Chan in the finale fight against the great Benny the Jet! One of the best fights ever recorded! This is what I see as the middle point of the 3 trio teams landmark film. Some very impressive stunts included the scene when Jackie and co creative scale and infiltrate the enermy castle. Jackies method is nothing but impressive, as he runs up the wall using logs he jabs into holes on the castle wall and circus spins his way tot he top. (No wires... an interview with Bey Logan and martial artist Keith Vitali who also starred in the movie, said Jackie improvised that!)

Paul C (au) wrote: I love Margaret Rutherford's eccentric interpretation of Miss Marple and this film gives her free rein to realy 'ham' it up. Here she solves a murder mystery in the world of amatuer dramatics and has great verbal sparring bouts throughout with the brilliant Ron Moody. Love Terry Scott's village bobby too!

Paul D (ag) wrote: A veritable who's who of British comedy actors do excellent justice to this good crook comedy which is funny throughout, Terry Thomas gets all the best lines.

Doug J (us) wrote: A B-noir so intricately and smoothly assembled that it rises above its origins, Kansas City Confidential sparingly uses to noir angles or lighting. Instead, it drapes itself in the ambiguity, the gray themes of the genre in a wonderfully convoluted story of a man wrongly accused of a heist. Wonderful performances across the cast make this a great, unadorned feature.

Daniel P (es) wrote: Captain Philips is a harrowing, well-acted, and even-handed biopic.

Andrew S (ag) wrote: Great cast, but an unoriginal story about three dumb guys who think they're smart to rob a Mob protected card game, causing the local criminal economy to collapse. Brad Pitt plays the enforcer hired to track them down and restore order. Killing Them Softly also features Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini, Ray Liotta, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, and Vincent Curatola.

David J (us) wrote: Jack Black = Big Fun. Not to mention the stellar supporting cast.
