The Critic (gb) wrote: A clever bit of noir for a contemporary audience that doesn't lose impact with the passing of time. Linda Fiorentino is perfectly cast as the femme fatale of piece, offering a captivating performance that keeps viewers' attention where it should be, and is supported well by Peter Berg and Bill Pullman. Directed with flair by John Dahl.

Ante P (nl) wrote: Ah..."Evil Dead Trap". Not the most violent Japanese movie ever made (that honor goes to the "Guinea Pig" series), but still gory enough to make it notorious. The visuals are great, but the plot makes no sense, and the final battle with the Super-fetus needs to be seen to be believed. Recommended, with caution.

Genevieve G (kr) wrote: The story can be somewhat predictable and corny, but the humorous and lovable main character and his strong female love interest make up for it. I actually still quite enjoy watching this movie today as a horror/rom-com. It's cute and cheesy in the best way.
Chris F (ca) wrote: 90 Minutes in Heaven is another dull and boring Christian film that just preaches to the choir. I liked the crash sequence in the beginning, but that's about it. Everything else is just a mess. The performances are poor in this movie. Hayden Christensen just whines in the movie, and Kate Bosworth looks like she is just phoning it in. The screenplay is atrocious. The dialogue is extremely cheesy. Nothing in this movie felt real. I know it is based on a true story, but the whole movie felt very calculated and never felt honest, if you know what I mean. I hope one day that they make well acted and well executed Christian movies. Looks like I'm going to have to wait a while.
