(ru) wrote: Its awesome, funny, and interesting as hell.
(es) wrote: Loved it!! Crazy creature feature set in Ireland?? Not a hard sell for this girl.
(nl) wrote: A rather disjointed tale of violence and revenge (made even blurrier with repeated flash-backs), director and star Rasmussen spoils the more interesting aspects of her story with the introduction of the preternaturally annoying Nick Corey, a man so excruciatingly twattish that my sympathies for Adria turned to disbelief as soon as he first appears climbing the walls like an idiot. That said, there are several visceral sequences, Rasmussen is improbably gorgeous throughout while a charismatic Djuricko deserves his own spin-off movie for his turn as her murderous mentor. With some judicious editing this might have been more compelling but it's worth a watch (if only for the delicious Ms. R).
(es) wrote: Fun to watch, but I'm having a hard time to understand Michael Moore's points in his film.
(kr) wrote: A VERY good documentary made by an all-women crew. Should be out on DVD by year's end.
(it) wrote: I didn't like the fact that some of the Apollo astronauts seem to have gone a bit bonkers in their later years, but it is actually quite a fascinating documentary.
(kr) wrote: Like a ripoff of The Cell, but without the interesting visuals. A hero too pathetically emo to care about, a big bad too pathetically banal to be scary, and too much self-consciously artsy camera work.
(ru) wrote: Not very funny or original but not an abysmal failure either.
(br) wrote: This was a lot more and simultaneously a lot less than what I was bargaining for. The former because the storyline and film isn't purely a stupid high octane gun-fu styled cop film. It is also alot less than what I wanted for exactly the same reasons. I wanted this to be a tongue in cheek gun and martial art cop romp, which is what the cover and the name suggests. What you get is a film which tries to be alot more and, to be fair doesn't to a bad job delivering. But I just didn't enjoy it that much. A perfect example of a film that shoots itself in the foot with it's own aspirations and you won't enjoy as much for it. Good but misleading and a bit of a let down.
(au) wrote: There's a pretty good movie in here somewhere, but it's buried in annoying stylish crap.
(nl) wrote: Despite its good intentions it is a very dry movie that is hard to watch without getting bored. I wanted to like it more than I did, but it's just too dull. (First and only viewing - Late Spring 2005 in theaters)
(kr) wrote: Shaq tried to follow in Michael Jordan's footsteps and make a cool kids movie. He failed.
(ag) wrote: Another fun disney animated musical and a fairly decent childhood classic. For it's time, it was definitely worth the entertainment.
(au) wrote: Boy this movie didn't age well. I loved it as a kid, but the totally placid pace of the plot makes for a really silly movie that adult me could figure out in a heartbeat.
(mx) wrote: Absolutely hilarious, I love every single bit of it!
