(de) wrote: A simple, delicate and bittersweet movie about a son discovering who his father actually is. The movie doesn't want to demonstrate something or convince you of a thesis: it "simply" tells a little story. Surprisingly, it made me laugh many times: while melancholy is suspended upon every single moment of the film , it never becomes a sad movie that desperately wants you to burst in tears. Sometimes life is fun, sometimes is sad, sometimes is both, like this wonderful movie.

Considering it is low budget the effects aren't terrible and the acting is probably better than most sci-fi channel movies. However it is one of those films where more than half the characters need a brain transplant to stop being so stupid (typical horror movie fare I guess). Worth watching if you like that sort of thing.
(ru) wrote: You need to be patient throughout this romantic comedy. Why? Because its title seemed promising but 'I Could Never Be Your Woman' has the tendency of letting you down due to its half-baked plots and scrupulous intervention of Mother Nature. Somehow, Pfeiffer and Rudd's May-December affair made up for the film.

(gb) wrote: Little to nothing at all happens in the first half of the movie, and sadly every attempt at horror, tension or ambience is quickly diminished by the films clear attempt at looking good instead of giving the audience an interesting story or characters. As the movie progresses it gains ground, and with a fairly good ending that seems somewhat unnecesary (considering the pace the movie had put the audience through) but undoubtly awesome makes me wonder even more why the first half even exists if not only to explain the religious motives of the film which are quickly forgotten by its disconnected but significant finale that is there only to satisfy the horror fans that came for violence.
