Hugo G (ru) wrote: This was. Very different kind if love story, because it wasn't very conventional in overflowing the audience with love demonstrations but rather with occasional affairs. The acting from Tahar Rahim & L (C)a Seydoux was very good, and the characters were very odd and hard to read. And maybe that's why I didn't felt as involved with them because it was hard to understand their actions because you didn't don't what was in their minds. However, it did had some emotion to it, as well as some suspense.

Lora R (us) wrote: Raavanan was visually very beautiful. The choice of the cast and their performance was excellent. Vikram's acting was just too good for words and Aishwarya was gorgeous as always.I liked the way Mani Ratnam gave an old epic story a new, modern clothing. It's different, intruiging and mysterious. The music was great. I wouldn't expect any less from A.R. Rahman.Raavanan had the perfect cast, story, direction and music. What do you want more?

Steven L (ag) wrote: Not nearly as good as the first one. This one is just beyond stupid!

familiar s (gb) wrote: An offbeat movie for which I'm too intelligent to grasp the spiritual story it's supposed to convey. Gave up after trying (& tolerating with patience) for half-an-hour.

Katya E (kr) wrote: Whunh...? Too obtuse for me! I kept waiting for somebody to say something that didn't seem like a non-sequitur, but it didn't happen. One of the characters spends a lot of the movie asking, "What the hell is going on here?" and I shared his frustration. I knew I was in trouble when I saw at the beginning that it was based on a book called A Hall of Mirrors.

Lady D (kr) wrote: What of course makes the idea of this film intriguing is that this is a woman heading for a Death Sentance in a time where that would be dominated by Men. Based on the true story of party girl Barbara Graham this film shows a woman high on the excitement of the wrong side of the law and being charged for a murder she may or may not have committed. The story is rather drawn out and despite our main character being quite Bold and brassy for the era, the film isn?t particularly exciting viewing, from a true crime prespective it is an interesting story and would perhaps warrant a remake in more graphic detail.

Dave W (nl) wrote: As an avant garde reflection of the ost brutal aspects of American society in the 1990s, it is hard to beat Natural Born Killers. Oliver Stone really ran with Quentin Tarrintino's spelling? story befor Tarrintino made his mark as a director. The finished priduct highlights the strengths and weaknesses if both filmmakers as it is both visionary and ambitious. The humor is dark and uncomfortable to laugh at, but when you examine Americn pop culture and celebrity in general it is kind of fucked up what and who we worship, and I think tjat is kind if the point of this movie.

Cameron J (es) wrote: A Hangover-esk Comedy with Mexico thrown in. Although a strange story line and irrational events, it still has enough one-liners and great actors to watch. Seeing Adam Pally in a bit of a different role is nice but everyone else is almost a plug-in from previous comedy roles. Worth a watch, but only because it fit my humor.

Matthew D (fr) wrote: This is exactly what this series of animated movies was designed for; a mature and brave take on superheroics. It's surprising and welcome to see a 'versus' film that pits moral philosophies against each other rather than powers, although there's plenty of action, and to see one that argues for the obsolete nature of the protagonist. Or does it?

Joshua H (ca) wrote: Great acting all around and a slightly interesting story with some good cinematography is not enough to save this movie from the going absolutely nowhere. The unnecessarily overused and under budgeted CGI takes you right out of the movie and makes you cringe. The buildup to the creature reveal is absolutely underwhelming and make you question why they even tried. The character development and down to earth story being told falls completely flat on its face by the time the movie ends. Only watch this if you want to see how the last 10 minutes of a good movie can render it pointless.
