Jonathan D (ru) wrote: This was a pretty good western, that is definitely not for everyone. It's very slow paced and deals with 2 people trying to get three "Crazy" women back to Iowa for treatment. It takes a very interesting turn the last 40 minutes. Don't expect much action in this one, but it is pretty good for a very slow paced character study.

Jim L (us) wrote: WHAT A GREAT FILM! Lynn Shelton should be recognized for writing and directing such a great comedy! I think a lot of people don't understand the point of this movie.

Mat R (us) wrote: Well this was extremely lovely ! Although not for everyone :)

Cecilia S (gb) wrote: After having been told by some many people just how funny this movie was, I finally watched it on DVD. It was a laugh and fun to watch but it doesn't make my all time favorite list.

David K (kr) wrote: This film is wacky, pulp-ish and spirited!A funny thrill-ride with great action, good Art and Costume direction.Definitely worth a look!

Dylan C (gb) wrote: Not on the same level as the Scream movies but similar in how it employees the conventional horror movie cliches and then turns them on their heads. Here, the "last living virgin" rule (which stipulates that the last living person in horror films is always the person who doesn't fool around with anyone) is flipped and a serial killer begins killing all the virgins at a local high school. There are a couple "jump-out" surprises at work but the film never reaches a truly frightening level. The performances are also simply run-of-the-mill and the writing isn't as clever as it thinks it is, borrowing plot elements from other horror films such as "The Nightmare on Elm Street". This film fell victim to the MPAA and was severely cut due for wide release due to its original NC-17 rating. Cherry Falls is an above average slasher film but I can't recommend it to anyone who's not a fan of the genre.

Andrew G (au) wrote: Thoroughly enjoyable and funny movie. The kids love it too.

Fong K (ca) wrote: A working class social drama that plays as an compelling advocate for industrial unionisation and features a forceful Oscar-winning performance from Sally Field as the feisty placard-holding titular union organiser.

Dena S (nl) wrote: i like movies with stories, this one didn't particularly like the stories though, they were okay. the last one was my favorite.

Carlos M (ca) wrote: Because it follows to the letter the conventions of the genre, this is an efficient yet passable horror movie that doesn't come close to being as scary as The Conjuring but offers some good moments here and there (like the elevator scene, which is particularly terrifying).

Paul J (de) wrote: "Hollywood had it coming"While Kevin Smith movies can be over the top when it comes to content, I still have an affection for them. What I've particularly liked about Jay and Silent Bob is the full assault it takes on Hollywood. Not to mention it contains some of the funniest scenes in any Smith movie and is a lot of fun from start to finish.Jay and Silent Bob hit the road when they find out their likenesses are being used for a Hollywood movie and they aren't getting any money. Along the way they run into jewel thieves, Scooby and the Gang, and plenty of movie references. It's a live action cartoon if ever there was one. This isn't anything amazing. There's no depth to anything going on. It's completely random, obscene, and rough around the edges, but fans of Kevin Smith will love it. There's just something about his movies; it's hard not to enjoy them.
