Eileen O (jp) wrote: I know many people are saying critics and other movie goers are being so harsh toward this movie because of Megan Fox. Fox is not a good actress and no I'm not being prejudice because of her beauty. I'm fans of the late Elizabeth Taylor, Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie, and Zhang Ziyi who are very beautiful women with great talent for acting. I watched Johan Hex last night in utter disappointment with Fox's acting. How many movies will it take to prove she is in fact a good actress? A good actress should be versatile. Honestly, if she was given a dramatic role like Nina Swayers in Black Swan or any other truly dramatic performance I believe she will struggle. I'm not going to see this in theaters but I will watch it on DVD through Netflix. And yes I do believe her career is still afloat because she is beautiful. Hopefully she proved in this movie she's not only a pretty face.

Patric C (nl) wrote: Comparable to Stephen Kings Creepshow, I can't say that I enjoyed this film. It consists of multiple plot lines that are loosely related. The problem I have with this structure is that it is hard to actually feel for any of the characters, as we know so little about them. Character development is lacking, the acting is poor and the stories are rushed; each of them could be much better if strung out over a longer period of time. Then again, you can expect anything with Dani Filth in to be gory for the sake of gory.
Greg T (jp) wrote: The plot isn't exciting enough to fill out all of 2 and a quarter hours; however director and star Clint Eastwood, as well as supporting actor Tommy Lee Jones, give outstanding performance, and the scenes in space are truly thrilling.

Melissa W (br) wrote: Interesting story with a good amount of suspense. The characters are somewhat shallow, however. There isn't enough meaningful dialogue, and, consequently, the relationship between the two main characters is not entirely convincing. The best part is Phil Collins' song at the end!
Uncle Seymour Coffins The Zydrate Addict (nl) wrote: This truly unique horror film is a great example of a good story instead of goory special effects, as seen in modern day horror films. Rather than having an all-out gorefest without any plot at all, the story is thrilling, creepy, and suspenseful, unlike most modern-day films. Richard Boone can definitely be seen as though he is being driven insane through his wonderful talent in this movie.
