Ameeta (ca) wrote: Disappointing. The real Tucker Max wouldn't have given a shit about anyone's wedding.

Sara N (fr) wrote: Some of this film seems to have been left on the cutting room floor. However, I love the film noir feel and the timelessness of it. Rickman is outstanding as always.

Christopher S (br) wrote: If I wasn't an Army veteran who loved to have a good time, I probably would have hated this film. Steve Martin is funny as hell and he was great as the MSG in this. I wish I had an E-8 who was like Bilko, it would have made my life in the different duty stations more fun. Don't take it too seriously. Funny film and Phil Hartman was also great in this.

Kyle B (de) wrote: Great thriller with a fantastic performance from John Malkovich and great supporting work from Rene Russo and Dylan McDermott. Clint Eastwood was ok he seemed a little stiff at times but he does the action scenes well. Fantastic editing and sound design

Donald Z (br) wrote: It could be a 3.5 or a 3, really. Maybe I should bump it up half a star to be fair. But until I do, I'll leave it where it is at a still above average score. It's still a good movie. It's still worth your time, I'd say, if you see it, but if you don't see it, that'd probably be fine, too. But it's better than a lot of things out there. So it's still a reasonable option, I'd say, for sure.

Carlos M (mx) wrote: This passable remake is proof that you can redo a great film in a different way and still obtain an effective result, even if far from the same level of quality - and most of its faults can be attributed to stylistic excesses and obvious inconsistencies that appear in the end.

Jason J (au) wrote: This is a depressing tale of rape, revenge, teen angst and being alone. Given that this movie was shot in just 4 days in 1 location on a tight limited budget, what director Koji Wakamatsu has created is nothing short of amazing. The movie is mostly in black and white which is so beautiful but just occasionally there are bursts of color and blue sepia sequences inserted. It works really well when you see it. The subject matter of the movie isn't the most joyous, in fact it's really bleak and it doesn't end on a happy note either which I'm not going to spoil for you. This movie isn't sleazy as such and the rape scenes aren't too graphic but the violence when it happens is brutal. The 2 main stars are fantastic in their roles and Mimi Kozakura as Poppo is naked for a lot of the movie's 65 minute running time.Go Go Second Time Virgin is an interesting pinku/art house movie with a fresh take on loneliness that I recommend.
