John Paul C (us) wrote: Anyone finds this movie funny has lost their sense of humor. This is a secular way of diminishing brain cells and twisted facts. How in the world anyone thinks sarah is fuuny when clearly she's not. The title should be read: Sarah Silverman: Stupid is Magically Destroying My Reputation.

Sutthirak P (ag) wrote: Even though there is a big thought-provoking idea about liberty (or freedom) and democracy with capitalism intervention, its frustrating conclusion between racism and sarcasm is not a good sign to deliver this well-made experimental film of Lars von Trier to general audiences. "Manderlay" is a bit far behind the excellent prequel "Dogville" (2003) especially on a camerawork, a production and a staging style. The characters seemed too idealistic so they hadn't got many chances to shine on their own aside from Bryce Dallas Howard who refreshed the same role that Nicole Kidman used to play. Still, a great story is yet worth to be investigated by moviegoers in political means rather than an art of filmmaking.

Jonathan W (us) wrote: One of the best romantic comedies of the 90s.

Daniel K (de) wrote: Another great movie about teens doing stupid stuff and having to pay the consequences... the ending was a bit strange enjoy

Martin T (kr) wrote: It seems to be primarily a showcase for Negrete, a sort of hispanic Dean Martin with rakish charm, macho (but not too macho) swagger, and a good set of pipes. It's utterly predictable and the sets are kind of cheap, but it's passable as light entertainment. It's just so out of place in the Bunuel ouevre, then again so are a lot of his other Mexican director-for-hire films. This is probably the least interesting of them, however, with only one or two brief glimpses of the Bunuel we know and love.

Nicholas B (ru) wrote: Fight Club is timeless masterpiece with interesting characters, amazing acting, David Fincher's chaotic direction, unforgettable quotes, thought provoking themes of Existentialism and Consumerism and in my opinion the best plot twist of all time.
