Bryan G (de) wrote: Tremendous, albeit a bit drawn out and disconnected at times. Excellent character study of the main character Anne Keyes, with a fascinating yet satisfying conclusion.

Bruce B (us) wrote: This is a very enjoyable action / thriller movie from Hong Kong, though not as much action as some I have seen from the west (West of me.) it still holds a good story line and enjoyable moments. Two assassins are pretty much pitted against each other. One is O (Takashi Sorimachi) who is the top hit man in the far East and is know for his professionalism. He has a cleaning lady who he is in love with clean an apartment he never lives in. The other assassin is Tok (Andy Lau), who is a show boater when it comes to killing. Sooner or later they must face each other and this provides for a action packed movie, that rates 4 stars.

David A (fr) wrote: Lazy, uninspiring, and childish; Steven Spielberg's "Hook" proves that sometimes great filmmakers can also fall. Most of the set pieces look just like that, film sets that can easily be distinguished from what is real and what was filmed on stage. Dustin Hoffman was fun as the charismatic Captain Hook, but he wasn't enough to overcome his cheesy dialogue and the rest of the ridiculous moments he kept having. Can't believe they brought nothing new to the Peter Pan fable. The only time we see Peter Pan is when we're 3/4 into the movie. John Williams again shines as the film's composer and that's the only positive thing about the movie. Spielberg should have read the script twice before entering production. Just saying.

Brandon J (ru) wrote: Hoping to see the first one to finish off the dollar sequals. This movie was spot on perfection, and the writing was good as always. I was very entertained from this as much as I was with The Good the Bad the Ugly. The music was still matching with the mood, and it was kinda funny seeing Clint do a Karate chop. The story was fascinating, and the characters were bad-ass.

David S (de) wrote: The first film in the series I liked. It kept me interested and I really dug the journey of Triss (Shailene Woodley). Even Jai Courtney I thought did a decent job. Insurgent however, took a big step back. Everything about this was dull. The development and continuance from the first film, characters, hell even Shailene Woodley was dreadful in parts. It kept me just enough interested in it to finish it and I'm looking forward to where the next one (Allegiant) goes, I know I'm late and I haven't heard good, but I'll still check
