Nobody Else But You torrent reviews

Brendan C (ag) wrote: Interested in seeing a great 'Abe Lincoln vs. a supernatual force' with a great performance by Bill Oberst, Jr. as the president despite cheesy effects and odd dialogue? Go see Abraham Lincoln Vs. Zombies! Brad Jones (of The Cinema Snob fame) has recommended this to me, and I'll do the same, because this is actually better to watch than the film 'Zombies' mocked on, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Oberst Jr.'s protrayal as Lincoln is so perfect, that it really puts Daniel Day Lewis' and Benjamin Walker's interpatations to downright shame.

Patrick B (us) wrote: A surprisingly funny movie. I was expecting it to be over the top and gory....and that it was! But really hilarious too. The movie definitely doesn't take itself too seriously and it's all the more fun for it.

Bill M (it) wrote: Once in a decade a film comes along that transcends its genre even as it transmorphs it. Transmorphers: Fall of Man is a revelation. It is pure cinematic wonder. I haven't seen it yet. It's on this Saturday on the Syfy channel but I'm totally stoked for it

Joshua N (gb) wrote: the filmmaking, itself, is a little lax. but, really, it's just too damn funny to ignore. like an afterschool special gone horribly awry.

Thomas B (br) wrote: A harrowing emotional experience with a brilliant central performance. Full review later.

Mark T (de) wrote: It's not laugh-out-loud funny but it's refreshingly original and clever with its subtle humour.

Anne F (es) wrote: I like film noir, but even so the excellence of this film surprised me. Humphrey Bogart plays a man who angers quickly and is very violent when angry. The story revolves around the hunt for the murderer of a young woman, whose last known contact was with HB's character. As the film progresses we do not know for sure whether he is guilty or innocent, just Like those around him. A very satisfying film that doesn't shy away from showing a man in a very lonely place.

Christy P (ru) wrote: Watched on Clearplay so it was edited. Interesting look into the math world and how a child deals with outgrowing and surpassing her father in an area he was supposed to be her adviser and hero in. There is always a certain kind of mourning over a parent who deteriorates mentally and physically, but this movie addresses the issue of forgiving yourself for becoming and doing what your parents always wanted to do; and their let down at not being able to be the hero their child can always look up to.

Tadd R (us) wrote: A very fun movie - with an excellent and smart script. Awesome cast - perhaps Pierce Brosnan's finest hour (and a half).
