I highly recommend the Red Pill for everyone. She found that MRA's are not evil and are far from women-hating men. In the documentary you have a film maker who was a very well documented staunch feminist going in thinking she would be making a film about those evil MRA guys who hate women and found the truth is far from the lie she read about from feminist groups. Keeping it short and precise, the documentary is very well done and given time constraints it is only able to scratch the surface the very real and fact based issues facing males of all ages. Now to the documentary. The misandrous reviews given by the two critics are the very reason the Red Pill is so necessary for addressing real issues, based on fact, science, and reality as opposed to an ideological view point mired in Misandry the two critics must adhere. It leads one to wonder if they even watched it or just asked a member of NOW to write the review for them. It seemed only fair to the documentary to point out that two of the three critics with the top billing, aimed at swaying your decision in watching this documentary, spend their entire "reviews" preaching the most vehemently anti-male feminist propaganda and little time actually discussing the facts, information, and reality shown in the documentary. However the Village Voice critic and Screen-Space critic both red like third year women studies students so deeply engrossed in misandry they can not stand the idea of a documentary that "gasp" is not only well documented but excruciating factual and honest. One from Matthew Pejovic that is for the most part well written and addresses the documentary in a somewhat fair and somewhat unbiased way. At the time I write this their are only three listed. First I would like to address the critic reviews for this film

A heartwarming tale of a dedicated Polish family devoted to protecting life in downtown Warsaw in the middle of WWII

. Despite some very poignant moments and well done cinematography, the film's weak adaptation from the popular novel and unfulfilled character development keeps it from reaching the emotional impact expected from such a powerful story. The Zookeeper's Wife: Jessica Chastain stars in this true story about a couple that secretly sheltered several hundred Jews at the Warsaw Zoo during the WWII Nazi occupation of Poland

The fact that most of the people in this town and at this college seem to care more about Football stats than the rape of children is the perfect demonstration of humankind at it's most callous and psychotic. that people will generally disregard some of the worst things imaginable in favor of keeping their symbols and heroes intact. . . At first, the documentary doesn't seem to have any perspective until it gradually reveals a disturbing thesis

Lot of valuable insight. Be it on some streaming service, order a physical copy, or download it, just watch it. I don't care what side of the fence you might find yourself, just watch this. . . Look

The lead actor is kind of a drag and the movie becomes less and less original and interesting in its second act, but Bottom of the World features plenty moments of skillfully inspired surrealism, a very good performance by Jena Malone, and more than enough ideas to think about after its over

must see for anyone interested in this type of thing!. A great documentary about one of the most recognizable and prolific character actors around. Still, Miller's roots are really in low-budget films and that does seem to make sense for where the film would focus. The same goes for the major film stars he's shared scenes with, like Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson, or Arnold. I think my only disappointment with the documentary was that outside of talking to John Sayles, none of the "serious" filmmakers he's worked with were interviewed. Some acting colleagues interviewed include Mary Woronov, Wiliam Sadler, Robert Forster, Corey Feldman, and Zach Gilligan. Some of the filmmakers and former collaborators of Miller's who are interviewed include Roger Corman, Joe Dante, Fred Dekker, Steve Carver, Allan Arkush, Jon Davison, Ernest Dickerson, Gilbert Adler, Jack Hill, Fred Olen Ray, Adam Rifkin, and John Sayles. It's an interesting story how Miller got his start with Corman pictures and later in his career in the 70s when Corman was producing films with a young generation of filmmakers who grew up watching his film all wanted to use Miller, largely out of a fondness for him from old Corman pictures, but then immediately gained an appreciation for his talent at bringing great performances to small parts. This loving documentary recounts his career by talking extensively with the colorful Miller and many of his collaborators, dating back to his start in low budget Roger Corman films. " The actor is Dick Miller, who you may not know his name, but once you see him and hear his voice, just about anyone who's ever seen a movie would recognize him. He's also appeared in garbage you've probably never heard of, like "Evil Toons," "Night Call Nurses," and "Route 666. " He's appeared in cult classics like "The Little Shop of Horrors," "Piranha,"Truck Turner," and "Cannonball!" He's worked with directors including Martin Scorsese, Stephen Spielberg, James Cameron, and John Sayles. You've seen him in "The Terminator," "Gremlins," "After Hours," and "Looney Tunes: Back in Action
