North West Mounted Police
Texas Ranger Dusty Rivers ("Isn't that a contradiction in terms?", another character asks him) travels to Canada in the 1880s in search of Jacques Corbeau, who is wanted for murder. He wanders into the midst of the Riel Rebellion, in which Métis (people of French and Native heritage) and Natives want a separate nation. Dusty falls for nurse April Logan, who is also loved by Mountie Jim Brett. April's brother is involved with Courbeau's daughter Louvette, which leads to trouble during the battles between the rebels and the Mounties. Through it all Dusty is determined to bring Corbeau back to Texas (and April, too, if he can manage it.)

(de) wrote: An enjoyable film with a slightly unusual story with several conflicts of personalities all going on during the overall main plot.
(jp) wrote: Fantastic film, totally convoluted in a good way.
(us) wrote: A insight into the lives of different people who live in cracktown, as well as the struggles they go through. It was entertaining to some degree but it was had to identify with most of the characters except the shop keeper & the young boy but it was also difficult. Not a great movie.

(mx) wrote: this film was pretty good. Some action, but mainly a story about achieving your goals.
(gb) wrote: A pretty standard flick that benefits hugely from Jean Reno and Vincent Cassell....The story itself up to a point is pretty interesting but becomes more pedestrian as the film progresses and come the end when it all comes together it becomes typical fare that offers nothing particularly new or interesting. Thankfully, Reno and Cassell are present to help lighten the load and make this feel better than it actually is.Merely ok, nothing more.....
(fr) wrote: Another Troma movie that is so bad it's worth watching and with a name like Buttcrack, why not. Funny idea.
(de) wrote: I thought it was a pretty good action thriller about a truck driver played by the late Patrick Swayze who just got out on Parole for serving time for vehicular manslaughter and is offered a job to haul a load from Georgia to New Jersey in order to save his home but then realizes that he's hauling a load of illegal firearms and this one group of people is out to get him and his family if he doesn't deliver the firearms. It was a good action movie overall but I guess it could've had more action in it!

(ru) wrote: Such a great film, you can tell it was directed by a German expressionist. It's subdued but still present. Definitely a very good film noir.
(ru) wrote: It does put it's microscopic budget to good use and Jody Barton's manic performance is difficult to ignore, but, overall, 13/13/13 is terribly acted, cheesy, poorly written, and pretty stupid.
(es) wrote: People seem to hate this movie, I don't see why. This movie is hyper violent, hilarious, and has Jason Statham in it, those 3 are enough for me to go see it
(br) wrote: This was a beautiful, moving film. It showed you the horrible atrocities of war, but the beauty of true friendship. But be sure to bring a tissue box because there are many emotionally moving scenes. The acting was beautiful and real, not to mention the attractive cast such as Jeremy Irving who played Albert Narracott and Tom Hiddleston as Captain Nichols. War Horse is by far one of the best films of the year and definitely a must-see.
(us) wrote: Nanny McPhee is a good family movie which is funny, charming and teaches morals. Its a lovely almost old fashioned tale which captures the imagination. Its colourful, creative and completely harmless. Its not all that satisfying for grown ups yet is bound to put a smile on a little ones face without a worry to the conscience. Overall an innocent little feel good movie which can be enjoyed on a rainy sunday afternoon.
