Not Without My Daughter torrent reviews

Michael M (it) wrote: Great short in front of Frozen and a great stand alone short film.

Scott S (gb) wrote: Excellent, plausible SciFi. Really well done.

Kris W (br) wrote: Very slow, very hard to follow, and very, very, very, depressing...

Steve Z (nl) wrote: Fairly mediocre, yet made more interesting by the astoundingly unique characters and scenarios. While the despair of the family brings you down, there are few (very few) moments of levity. The male lead is seemingly weak, yet finds the strength to keep his family together most of the time. This is a movie that makes an uncommon family seem so normal that the film feels very realistic.

Darren S (us) wrote: Tense, great psychological thriller. Fear is a place, sums up this flick

Sean M (ru) wrote: so very British, i found it hard to understand aurally. it will take me a few times to get all the jokes.

Drago C (es) wrote: The Returned manages to do more with the Zombie movie genre than any movie since Romero's Night of the Living Dead. Instead of focusing on gore and cheap thrills it builds an intimate, intelligent story about living with an affliction that makes you a second class citizen (AIDS metaphor, anyone?). Carballo manages to create a living breathing world by jamming a lot of backstory into background elements: talk shows, newspapers, tv reports and even a handy expository presentation. The direction is a bit jittery at times and the script's pacing takes too many of its cues from recent zombie hits (28 days later in particular) but it comes out on the winning side.Suspense, romance thrills and drama mix in this tale of a zombie apocalypse but at a small, personal level. And despite the unevenness at times the movie is a good watch overall.
