The plot gives us absolutely nothing memorable to distinguish it from all the others before it (and probably plenty more after it). The music was more annoying than useful. The acting was unintentionally comical in some places but mostly unremarkable. The gore effects are ok. They are nothing cutting edge in the industry, but they work. Really, plenty of other films have done the young folks in the woods in peril plot much better than this one did, watch those instead. Notes: GV-HL-FN Suggested Age: 16+

I'm a Cristian and this is inoffensive and definitely the best rendition of the Noah and the flood story, (I'm looking at you 2014's Noah), which is very offensive. This movie if nothing is hilarious, but it's more than that, and Steve Carrel is funny. If you looking for a good Cristian/bible based movie, pick this over gods not dead and it's sequal they suck.

I think the soundtrack is the best thing about this movie. Besides having a few laughs in between. The movie is about a band that isn't that good but still living the dream of making it big. They all love each other and are just trying to make it big. The dinner scene with her parents was pretty funny and I'm still confused, was the girl taking a bath in blood real or not? Anyways, if you stumble upon this movie I say give it a go!

But of the pre-LotR films it's my biggest problem, I'd probably like this a lot more if it hadn't been for the style it's filmed in, it's hard to describe it if you haven't seen the films but boy did I want to give the filmmakers something to mellow them the f*@# out.
