stephen e (de) wrote: My god this kid is some actor, and this is one magnificent film. Cant remember the last time i became so emotionally invested in a character that i could feel my gut twisting and boiling with rage. Simply amazing performances all the way through the cast, and pisses all over films like Green Street and Scum. An actual motherfucking masterpiece

Angee P (us) wrote: my current fave movie. I really loved their romance. Wish there was a part 2 of the movie.

Faley A (ca) wrote: If the sex scenes aren't that good in a sex based movie, how could u prefer that ??

Singha S (ru) wrote: Fantastic HK cop thriller. Gritty and entertaining. Hollywood wish they could make movies like this.

David G (it) wrote: Meaningful account of youthful pride, honour and rivalry spiralling out of control and inexorably towards disater in inner city London. Down to earth and real with some poignant messages. Remarkable performances form the cast, many of whom were not professionals but recruited off the streets of Hackney. Ashley Walters was very impressive.

Andrew L (kr) wrote: The of Miyazaki's films I saw, and wholly inspiring.

Sonia D (mx) wrote: Fucking Love Aisa Argento in anything!!!

Zachary M (gb) wrote: Utterly gruesome and so terrifyingly real it can be very hard to watch. Watching each and every scene you really feel like you're watching true footage instead of staged, yes I know the animal violence is very real. And yet it's strangely compelling to see. It's one of those movies that I would recommend people see, but if anyone can't make it through or just doesn't have the stomach for, I'll completely understand.

Timothy J (it) wrote: A classic John Wayne I used to watch often as a kid. You can't go wrong with John Wayne.

Josh V (fr) wrote: One of the greatest unknown films of all time. Jean Seberg plays the best schizophrenic on screen ever. The film is both a visual and a written wonder. The imagery of the film is as great a character as the characters within the film.

Peter J (de) wrote: This true gem of an indie movie tells the sometimes funny, always touching story of aspiring twenty-something New York comedian Donna Stern who is facing tough life decisions (one of which includes a consultation with Planned Parenthood). The greatest of many highlights is the wonderful Jenny Slate who portrays a conflicted character with warmth, humor and vulnerability. Most importantly: "Obvious Child" feels *real*.

Steve S (kr) wrote: A very bad attempt at making a stylish and hip thriller. It is just annoying in its ineptness.
