Nympha

NyMpha is the story of Sarah (Tiffany Shepis), a young American girl, who goes to Italy to take vows needed to become a cloister nun of the "New Order" Convent. The rules of the convent are very strict, so strict that they are often considered a form of torture. Sarah's path is divided into four steps, "hear" the Lord, "see" the Lord, "touch" the Lord and "talk" with the Lord... Each step will be painful for both Sarah's physical and mental self. Moreover, during Sarah's journey, she often has visions of the Convents past, visions that it was the house of a young girl named Ninfa... Ninfa's life was ruined by the religious fanaticism of her violent grandfather Geremia, who believes that he can talk directly with God. In reality, he is utterly mad, and this madness seems to be present today (within the walls of the convent) where young Sarah lives...

Bel S (es) wrote: It's an 80's film. What can you expect. But it's a great movie that has very chilling and dark moments, and the storyline was unique and impactful, which is why this film became so popular. Sucks that The seed of chucky had to happen.

craig g (mx) wrote: Enjoyed the crap out of this, I would think a wild character like ginger baker would be an easy documentary to create, due to his personality and story, but they did a great job digging a little deeper, and the little animations that tied the movie together were great too. Enjoyed this a lot...watch it if you are into classic rock, and even if you are not.

Frances H (br) wrote: Very funny and witty. Maher is devoted to showing those who take religion to the extreme the lack of logic in their thinking and the contradictions in the tenets that they espouse. Love the way he does it, using their own holy scriptures, giving them pause, but, as my wise old father always said, when you argue with someone over an issue, you only give them the opportunity to think up more reasons for thinking the way that they already do. So using logic with religious extremists will unfortunately never work.

Gigi A (de) wrote: this is my favourite aussie film ever. david wenham had me crying with laughter.

David B (au) wrote: I DVRed this and didn't watch it for about six months. Why did I have to finally come around and watch it?

Kenneth B (fr) wrote: A borderline-genius reboot of what had become a somewhat stale franchise. Bride of Chucky brought both gore and laughs to proceedings and provided the best instalment of the Child's Play series.

Arthur P (kr) wrote: The movie title was mysteriously dramatic and Chinese martial arts was an unknown deadly art of self-defence besides boxing-style fist punching and football-like kicking. The European name 'Bruce' together with the Chinese simple-spelt 'Lee' was an unforgettable name for the most famous kung fu fighter to start the kung fu movie era. The villain was a classic James Bond gangster-style/ radio commentary-style dialogue as every word can be heard clearly, as if the voice is heard inside a noise-proof studio room ;;
