Patrick L (fr) wrote: I found this on dvd and I really wish I hadn't...it is a so-so film as some people have already mentioned. It's basically immature and sexist to a great deal...if you want sex and a great story then I 'd say "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" is more realistic and enjoyable. A feature of the dvd is that the menu includes two "cougar models" - I think one was a dark haired Asian and the other a blonde caucasian. Based on what option you choose, then the model strips (it's shown in a continuous loop). I preferred the dark haired woman as she seemed more natural and relaxed.

Mohamed F (mx) wrote: A decent film, and a decent debut that is a bit too slow for it's own good, and I'm not against slow pacing at all, but the pacing cannot be constantly slow throughout the movie, I understand that the director meant well, but it kinda worked against him.The cinematography was meant to resemble that of a documentary, but it just took it a bit too far with the underexposed night shots, I also understand that it was made like that to serve a dramatic purpose, but in the end it feels like bad cinematography and makes it look cheap. The script was mediocre, and it felt a bit too detached, which is IMO, the exact opposite of how this type of movie should be handled, it bordered at times, to the indifference towards the protagonist.Overall, it was a nice concept that was handled badly, will still watch Goodbye Solo to make up my mind on Ramin Bahrani.
