I felt taken back in time to the amazing memories, friends, and extraordinary achievements that the people of this festival manifest and create. Cheers to you for doing such a great job!

Ole J (ru) wrote: This is overall funny, but its just too corny and cheezy at times, and I had expected something more with a cast like that. Its allright and has its moments, had it been from 2005 it would have been more in its right place, but for now its just not good enough.

Tara G (kr) wrote: I have just finished watching this movie on youtube. Well this movie is interesting but uncomfortable to watch at times. So this movie is definitely NOT for any random movie viewer. I suggest the movie viewer to be quite open-minded because the underlining dependency each sister needs, the movie viewer could easily over look that aspect by focusing on the physical intimacy that occurs. The acting is effective; however the writing is muddled. There is much focus on the older sister; I wanted to see more of the younger sister's personality. Also the sisters being maids and how they struggled with that, could have been explained more. I wanted to get a more effective sense of why the tragedy. I would not mind watching the movie again; maybe I would pick up on something that clues in to each sister that I did not notice before.

Eric N (ru) wrote: One of the greatest movie achievements ever. A future martial arts historical figure playing a past one. A movie with the deep beauty and esthetics of Zhang Yimou's "Hero" with the real feel of Tsui Hark's "One Upon A Time In China". Even though I've seen hundreds of these types of movies, seeing this one makes me feel as if it's my first time seeing "Crouching Tiger" or "Iron Monkey" and I become a kid again. Between the action, visuals, and most importantly the message, this is a movie that can not be surpassed.

Guy G (it) wrote: [C/55] Schmaltzy melodrama that strives to be a heartwarming storybook on the trials, tribulations, and soul-searching of a Boston family that must come to terms with an obnoxious American-Lithuanian condo salesman who weds their desperate-to-be-married daughter. A bunch of scrappily developed characters meander through a go-nowhere plot full of half-clichs and gassy heart-rendering moments. Methodically empty.

Luke C (ca) wrote: What can i say, Terrence Hill and Bud Spence are fantastic in this film as brothers who really cant get along. I found this film late on tv one night and was literally enjoyed every minute of it. I try to reccomend this film to friends but none have yet to see it from what i know. Still If you have not seen this film, watch it. have a good laugh aswell while you do.

David L (es) wrote: MASH is a black comedy that really has some funny or goofy moments that are nicely acted and executed, but the film as a whole is one disjointed affair with poor pacing, draggy beginning and stupid rugby ending that largely ruined the film plus the whole sexual humor and evident sexism are some nasty and thoroughly unpleasant factors in this film consequently making it seem like a solid effort, but one with a lot of wasted potential nevertheless.

Linda T (gb) wrote: A True Story: Susan Hayward won an Academy Award for her performance classic I Want to Live! Hayward plays Barbara Graham, a "good-time girl" with a heart of gold and absolutely no instincts about when to drop a bad association. After bouncing in and out of the prison system for a series of petty crimes, Graham suddenly finds herself framed for murder and facing the death penalty. Hayward is simply marvelous, giving a wrenching, complex performance without ever becoming maudlin. Director Robert Wise ratchets the tension up to a nearly unbearable level, making Barbara's moments of hope as agonizing as those of her despair. The film is based on the story of the real-life Barbara Graham, taken from her letters and interviews with reporter Ed Montgomery. Montgomery himself appears as a character, and the film is surprisingly evenhanded about condemning his own role in Graham's conviction.
