John M (ca) wrote: Well the dubbing was scheiss, and the story made less and less sense as it went on, but it started well and there were some good effects.

Wes S (de) wrote: It's a mix and match, the humor didn't really hit me and the battle of the sexes aspect was a bit distasteful at times. It's still rather fun, good gore, and a lot of gross moments. It could be better, but it still felt well-made for a indie zombie flick.

Miles S (us) wrote: One of the best movies I have seen. I am typically not a fan of exposition, however, the narration in this film is on point. It gives perspective to the world through the lens of Ben Willis.

Michael L (mx) wrote: Ha! Finally they added it. I haven't seen this for years but it is wonderful and surreal. I can't see how the movie poster says much about the film. Ummm.

Emma L (es) wrote: Jesus Christ, the ending! :O That is one badly messed up scene - the whole film gets bonus stars purely for the last minute!

Jim H (nl) wrote: Like most of the films that made it onto the notorious video nasties list in the 80s, Anthropophagus is doomed to not live up to it's notoriety. That's not to say it's a terrible film but don't expect to run screaming from your seat in the belief that this is a real life snuff movie (as it was reported certain viewers did back in the 1980s). Unfortunately, like many gore films, Anthropophagus' good moments can be counted on one hand and what links them together is fairly tedious. It is worth watching for a couple of gory moments, especially the one it is most well known for which had me guffawing and spluttering out my beer, and for the completely wigged out soundtrack.

Nick B (au) wrote: Beyond terrible but has to be viewed just to see how bad a sci-fi movie can be, very laughable, terrible acting bad special effects and David hasselhoff. Came out a year after star wars but looks like it was made 30 years before. I did enjoy the girl in the bikini for most of the movie.

Greg S (nl) wrote: Two alternating stories: in one a virgin beauty queen escapes from her millionaire husband with a solid gold penis, while in the other a Socialist sea captain sails down the Seine with a hold full of sugar and candy. With explicit nudity, blood, urine, puke, feces, infantilism, sexualization of children, and pointless political references, it's like an arthouse version of PINK FLAMINGOS, only boring.

Martin P (nl) wrote: A bit of a bland comedy. A couple of laugh out loud moments save the film.

Randy Y (us) wrote: A decent account or Ali's rise, and the paths/battles he faced en route. Seems like it covered a lot of the history, but feels like it may have missed a lot.
