(gb) wrote: Stay away from this one. It's not even remotely funny. The comedy is poorly executed and never delivers. How the hell did this even get made in the first place?
(br) wrote: Pretty interesting plot. The ending was very disappointing. Louis Koo rocked this film. Charlene Choi was very poorly casted.
(es) wrote: One of the most cerebral, and entirely unpleasant films ever made, but there were certain moments of the film that left me in awe. The acting is frighteningly good. It's a believable portrayal of a brainwashed family. I squirmed every time a character was beaten by the father or beaten themselves. It portrays a horrifying existence absolutely breathtakingly. You either love this movie, or you hate it. I'm pleased to find myself on the love side.

(de) wrote: The classic Muppet movies were heartfelt comedies that gave us memorable, original songs and plenty of funny celebrity cameos. "Muppets From Space" falls short of that high mark, relying on 70's disco/pop songs and B-List celebrities. The beginning and end of the movie are good, though.
(ag) wrote: Horrible, Pacino is in it for not even a full minute

(ru) wrote: Simply put this is a great movie, not only for its time but even today. The special effects still look decent and the overarching storyline of following rules and wanting things we can't or shouldn't have is great instruction at age 6, 30, or 70. A top ten 80s flick and a holiday classic in my opinion. Get it on Blu-Ray, looks fantastic!
(kr) wrote: Some amazing imagery in this docu film was for me partially spoiled by the music which didnt work at all in my opinion. The film started off brightly but lost its way and for me couldnt decide quite what it was trying to do - be it a cautionary tale, a dramatic depiction of nature, or a series of short stories. In essence I got bored about something which is highly spectacular, interesting and should be great for high def TV or cinema.Could do better chaps!
(gb) wrote: A surreal and profound "film."
(gb) wrote: It has kind of an interesting concept.
(kr) wrote: Swingin' Sixties sex farce propelled by megawatt star power. Screenplay by Woody Allen contains many Woodyisms. Silly and inessential, but where else are you gonna see a Keystone Cops-inspired go-kart chase with Allen, Peter O'Toole, Romy Schneider, Peter Sellers, and Ursula Andress? They even throw in a James Bond joke!
(it) wrote: Decent little film about a down out and screwball who's friends let him continually stay with him despite the messes he keeps getting them in. Matt Dillon was good but man Hudson just isn't a good actress....I also found Owen Wilson's character to be quite annoying....that being said it is a nice heartfelt comedy that is hard to hate on too much.
(fr) wrote: Some movies make us uncomfortable in unexpected and wild ways, this one did just that for me. It broke barriers and its audience score says more about the audience than about the film.
