Poor Milton can't get any respect. He works at an evil corporation called Initech and his "office" has been shoved into the basement. He talks to the camera, picks his nose, and threatens to burn the building down. Occasionally, his boss Bill Lumbergh comes in to further complicate Milton's life.

There may be a different perception but down deep we an relate. Oh and the war was not that simple or polarized as people made it out to be.The Rumsfeld speech snippet about weakness was profound.

Based on a 1986 novel, this melodrama revolves around five intertwined characters. Javier Bardem is electrifying in the erotic/thriller. Wow this is good! My lovefest for Pedro Almodvar continues unabated - this is a fantastically written and constructed.

The only problem is that it doesn't stand on its own too well, leaving little to know for those who aren't familiar with the series.

And actually, the film makes a very good point, one that people should have applied to Osama Bin Laudin. After the conflict has started, the "leader" is almost irrelevant. The enemy is the ideology, and it is the ideology has to be defeated, whether it's Nazism, Islam, or Communism.

(nl) wrote: After falling in love with the blue-eyed and gorgeous Jennifer Connelly after her strong performance in "Requiem for a Dream," I made it a point to try and watch anything released with her in it subsequently. This is one of those films that I feel suffered from insufficient promotion, marketing, and publicity - hence why hardly anyone knows or heard about it. Awesome storyline, plot, acting though. Great, great, film.
