The story us lack in acting, depth and both charisma and attitude. The overdose of butt and breast groping is probably something one would sought after, the the terrible kissing and acting is a killer. Now people, if you want to party, party like the prequel.

Alexander R (nl) wrote: Really getting hooked on Korean movies these days, they are doing some awesome work there. This is one of them, obviously. Was expecting a horror movie, but this one is really about people, and thus much scarier.Only a shame that towards the end the story got all supernatural and ghostey. The movie didn't need that, it was pretty much perfect up to that point, it just added some silliness to an otherwise impressive work.Hence no five-star rating.

Grant S (br) wrote: Entertaining. The life of Fanny Brice, famed comedienne and entertainer of the early-1900s. We see her rise to fame as a Ziegfield girl, subsequent career and her personal life, particularly her relationship with Nick Arnstein.Entertaining, especially the stage performance scenes. Barbara Streisand absolutely shines during these scenes. Funny, and with some impressive singing too. The remainder is reasonably good and engaging. Does get fairly schmaltzy at times though, and the mid-to-late section is quite dry as it concentrates on the Brice-Arnstein relationship. As mentioned, Barbara Streisand is great during the live show scenes. She is fine during the other scenes too, especially as there are some musical numbers thrown in every now and again (it is a semi-musical). Streisand won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 1969 for her performance (shared with Katharine Hepburn for The Lion in Winter).Good work too from Omar Sharif as Nick Arnstein.

Tyler Z (au) wrote: The Fault in Our Stars, is a legit roller coaster ride. I mean the tones and plot points were spread out in the movie like a roller coaster. In the first half of the movie, there is a lot of witty humor and great character growth. However the second half of this movie, suffers from turning into a sappy romance movie. Then the ending makes you feel that wave of emotion again. A very well-acted movie by the three main stars especially Shailene Woodley. Overall, the film is good but not as good as my favorite cancer survival movie, 50/50, due to it's inconstant tones and slow parts towards the end.
