Julian R (ag) wrote: This confrontational coming-of-age thriller is a haunting look into the destruction of innocence and the depths of fear. When a gang of raucous teens plays hooky in the woods, they cross paths with a mysterious drifter. Preying on their adolescent curiosity and naivete, the sadistic vagabond easily wins them over only to inflict humiliating and torturous mind games with a rusty switchblade and a gun. Trembling and desperate, these kids realize that their only chance of survival is to embrace the darkness within and fight back with some wicked games of their own.

Wonderful film that was well played out, played out similarly to Edge of Tomorrow which itself is also based on a Japanese tale.

Luke B (jp) wrote: I've never been a fan of Superman, but this enlightening documentary really allows you to respect what is, in my opinion, an out dated character. This film details the highs and lows of Superman in popular culture, and avoids being just an advertisement for his latest incarnation. There are interesting tidbits, such as many of the distinctive characters/traits coming from the early radio shows. We see Superman's effects on celebrities, writers, producers, a world at war, and much more. At times it places its feet where they're not wanted. Did we really need talk on September 11th? Probably more of a nice introduction to the character, or good for those looking to expand their knowledge. But most fans will be familiar with what's going on.

Nilla S (us) wrote: This was so bad we told everyone we passed afterwards and ended up walking straight into our bar w/o even talking about it. A movie has never made us have to get a drink before.

Orlando D (gb) wrote: Bruce Willis had a plethora of bad movies in the 90's and his career went to freefall, Bruce must have thought, Let's do an erotic thriller and show my peen to my adoring public, this nude scene was to rival Sharon Stone's Basic Instinct and up the sex factor as well, the audience(what little of them were there for this film)laughed, because this movie is so ridiculously awful and goes over the top in many ways that its not suspenseful, sexy or exciting, its 2 1/2 hours of a silly premise, hokey dialogue and actors who should have known better(Lesley Anne Warren is given a terrible fright wig, lets not start on Willis' bad rug.)Here, Willis is a shrink who goes to see an old college buddy on in Los Angeles after a patient of Willis commits suicide. Willis stays at his BFF's bachelor pad. Well, his buddy is killed, he takes up his patients and stays at his home rent free. While trying to solve his friends murder and not get killed himself in the process. Jane March is the sexy, yet mysterious girl who may know something. The director shows great camera angles and movements but does what he can with such a lousy script. Seriously, you can do better than this slow moving film.

Jason 123 D (nl) wrote: Implied Child Pornography, sex and nudity just because it's shocking to put on screen, exploding typewriters, and other off-putting elements completely take the viewer out of the reality of the film which contradicts the intent of the film and makes for a poor viewing experience. Also, continuity errors abound. Not a pleasant film to watch.

Allan C (fr) wrote: Not dull, but there was no mystery or suspense. And they still can't come up with characters to care about. And as much as I love horror, gore does become tiresome after a while.

Bruno V (nl) wrote: Had a better time seeing this the second time , funny enough , not hilarious . Big minus...Justin Timberlake ! SOMDVD

Simon R (ru) wrote: it might be a cult classic but it is a cheesy chic flick

Noname (nl) wrote: A kinda sequel to Bruce Almighty mainly just because that Morgan Freeman does the role again as god. Anyway the movie is quite okey and its a nice comedy/family movie altho not as fun like Jim Carrey's Bruce Almighty. Story is about Evan that gets elected to Congress and he moves with his family to a new place and "God" is showing up there one day and tell him to build an "Ark" for a great flood which will arrive.. Overall a decent flick i thought.

Brett E (de) wrote: Paul Rudd was one of the most unlikable characters I've seen on screen in a while. It was relentless. He was so annoying and over-the-top and so much of what he said was forced for a laugh. He hasn't had a guy friend before, we get it. But he's a human being. He has had interactions before. Shouldn't he be a little more shy if he's never had a guy friend? Why the consistent stupidity? It wasn't funny after a point. Jason Segel was good yet they went overboard with certain moments and I didn't believe for a second his character would do certain things (i.e. his speech to Paul Rudd's fiance). Great, hilarious performance from Jaime Pressly though!!

Kameron W (mx) wrote: Something that is worth a watch. Elizabeth Olson give a great performance as an unstable cult escapee who still is uncomfortable in her return to the outside world.
