Filipe C (us) wrote: The Woody Allen of the West Coast, Albert Brooks' first film is also a brilliant one. Prescient, incisive, acidic, Real Life's values go beyond the reality TV angle, as it also takes a stab at fame, sociological myths and the very nature of Hollywood. Plus, its ending should absolutely be replicated by the Kardashians.

Tim R (ag) wrote: My only complaint is that it was slightly odd how they assigned British accents... A decent war flick though.

Sanjid P (kr) wrote: This is a pretty cleverly constructed a "reality TV show" from BBC. It only aired on 31st October (Halloween), 1992. As they says the show is still regard as being one of the most controversial British television events of all time. After watching it for the first time all I can say now any "found footage" film maker can take notes from this one & half hour long TV-Horror-Mocumentary that quite convincingly blew me away!

Four Star F (nl) wrote: As I have come to know, this film is historically important simply for the fact that it was the first Hollywood film to attack the Nazis. In 1939 the U.S. was not at war and many of the studios were not keen about such controversial fare. However, Warner Bros. had the guts to do it and they used a real story as basis for the drama. Edward G Robinson is solid as usual and he is supported by a cast of mostly unknowns (aside from George Sanders). As a film it is not that amazing and for some reason at times if felt awkward to watch. That does not detract from its importance in history however.

Vanda K (au) wrote: A very unique way to direct a "mockumentary".

Ryan S (es) wrote: One of the most disturbing Movies i've ever seen, but oddly well acted and high quality. It's a very dark and nail biting film, but a very entertaining flick none the less.

Socio- realism at its best. Saw this film with Leah and couldn't stop thinking about it afterwards. That's when you know it's a good film!
