Ian G (kr) wrote: A remake of the Quebecois film Starbuck, pretty much swaps out the title and drops in Vince Vaughan as the lead but pretty much acts note for note as a remake of the previous film as a gateway into Hollywood for director Ken Scott. Unfortunately even though the premise is still silly and enjoyable to a point, Delivery Man/Starbuck looses some in the translation and probably a good part of that is with Vince Vaughan who is partially miscast in the role particularly with the aspiring father sentimentality which he seems to have some trouble trying to play off convincingly although I get why he was considered since he is always known for some of his screw up comedy persona. Also the fact that it has been done before so enjoyably there is no real surprise here to really make it its own project. Not a complete wash, just one of those cases that you wish the originals were left alone for what they are.

Shane B (ag) wrote: Skip this.Second worse movie I have ever watched, bleak is an understatement. If you can make it through the tediously boring and dragged out beginning and middle, you will surely hate yourself for watching the ending. This film is not Visually stunning...It does not fill the bill....and is far from being a treat.

Darren C (fr) wrote: In the second installment of the Death Note film franchise, Light Yagami meets a second Kira and faithful follower Misa Amane and her Shinigami named Rem. Light attempts to defeat L along with Teru Mikami (a Kira follower) and Kiyomi Takada (another Kira follower) but in the end will Light win? or will a Shinigami named Ryuk make all the difference in Light's victory or his ultimate death? Death Note: The Last Name is the sequel to Death Note, an anime adaptation. However, does Death Note: The Last Name follow in Death Note's footsteps or should this movie be in the Death Note? The story is very good and continues on from where the first movie left off, the characters are brilliantly written and the acting was great as well. The scenes were brilliantly executed and the CGI was also very good, especially for the Shinigamis (Death Gods who own the Death Note). I thought that Tatsuya Fujiwara did great as Light but Kenichi Matsuyama stole the movie as L, who acted and behaved exactly how the character in the anime did so it was nice to see the movie stay faithful to the series in some ways. The writing was very good and the dialogue was great too. All in all, it's like the anime series with some welcoming changes. I enjoyed this sequel, I thought that it wasn't going to be as good as the first movie but I would say that it was on the same level, if not, better. The story basically continued on and it managed to keep the balance of the characters and their stories and how they all interact with each other. The acting was very good and I think the CGI was great. The designs for Ryuk and Remi were brilliant and they haven't changed them from the series (well, except for the fact that they're in 3D). I think that, even though they have made big changes from the Death Note story, they've pulled it off and they've done a good job making the story into two movies. This movie is great, it has everything you liked about the first movie in this and more. If you like Death Note, you'll be happy with this.

Sally G (br) wrote: one of the best Lesbian movies i have seen in a long time, if u r looking for something sensual then this is the movie for you, although the ending is probably not what you expect, there is an alternate ending on the dvd, which would probably suit most people.

Simplemente entretenida.

Mike M (mx) wrote: I loved this movie. All the nostalgia, the coming of age, the confusion of growing up, the friends, the memories, the loss of important people, the fleeting chance that you can go back - it made me feel good, human, whole, and I could even feel a little tear coming out.

Cole M (ru) wrote: Oh my god, you have to see this film! The actors screw up their lines while the director doesn't bother to cut, the creepy narrator starts hacking on a ciggarette while talking about the dangers of drug use, the music is ridiculous, the plot is hilariously bad, etc. etc. etc. This is one of those films that is so terrible that you just have to see it.

Joshua D (de) wrote: If you haven't seen this movie, you haven't seen shit yet. This movie is quite possibly the greatest one I have seen ever seen, besides TAKEN. AVATAR can't even compare, James Cameron should have take some pointers from the guy who wrote this movie. The plot was intense, the scares were incredible and had me crying. I was constantly on the edge of my seat and could not keep my eyes off the screen. They didn't even have a lot of money but they might as well had one million dollars. This movie is definitely worth that much. And if you like this movie, you should check out HOUSE OF THE DEAD. Seriously though, watch this movie; you will definitely not regret it. I even wrote a letter to blockbuster thanking them for introducing me to this masterpiece of a movie. They didn't make a mistake when they put this out on the shelves. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know what a good movie.

This spurs Superman to stamp out their antics, leading to a battle on the surface of one of Jupiter's moons. My ReviewThe only reason i saw this animated feature based on a graphic novel(which i have not read) containing my second favorite superhero of all time is because this is the year for the man of steel to shine in his 75th anniversary and i wanted to watch as many cool animated and live action adaptions of Superman as possible. This animated feature revolves around superman trying to make the new intergalactic superhero team known as The Elites to realize that killing is wrong. It digs through the choice of superman thinking maybe the world need these better superhero's other then him. Should he do there ways and kill his enemies or leave his beloved planet Earth? This animated feature has a good amount of things I do like and some things I don't like. The things I do like about this animated were the voice over actors for Superman, Lois Lane ,Johnathan Kent and that England leader of The Elites but the rest im not a fan of. The fights scenes are short and but cool which make it worthwhile. Finally also that little funny beginning with the little children's superman cartoon. The things I don't like are some of the other voice actors like for characters Perry White, Jimmy Olsen and the rest of The Elites. They could of made this a little bit longer but al little bit of the movie feels rushed and bland. I would of liked this movie to be an hour and thirty minutes instead of one and fifteen minutes. The movie is a little fun animated feature I guess but I still has some problems along with some good stuff if you want I think you should check it out I even do think it's a little better then All star Superman.

Later he seeks to unravel the events of that night. Dennis Hopper plays his friend a videophile. Though the scenary is nice and the cast good looking this mearly adds to the feeling of having some horrid nightmare leading towards an inevitable final. Checkthis out.
