Ross M (ag) wrote: Contracted doesn't hold up very well compared to It Follows, but that doesn't make it a waste of time. The special effects look great and manage to balance out the hit or miss acting / writing. Overall, I was entertained, and that's all I really expected, 3 stars

Jude M (de) wrote: One of the best war films of all time, Black Hawk Down has it all: great acting, a compelling and gritty story, and one of Hans Zimmer's best scores.

Nikolai E (es) wrote: It's a screwball holocaust movie! "Bringing Up Baby" meets "Mother Night!" A light, romantic fling featuring concentration camps and bombed-out houses with Cary Grant in full Arsenic and Old Lace goof-ball mode! Well, actually it's a lot duller than that, with unnecessary scenes that stretch on forever. But! But it's got a kickass ending though! In it, Ginger Rogers pushes a murderous Nazi collaborator three times her size over the side of a boat, and then they debate giddily for a solid ten minutes whether to fish him out or let him drown. They finally decide they have to save him because "that's what makes us different from the Nazis." Only then Ginger remembers that he can't swim! So we get to have our moral superiority cake and eat it too! Isn't that inspiring?

Addison C (es) wrote: Thought provoking and exciting, but leaves you completely unsatisfied with the ending if you liked the entire rest of the movie. *spoilers*The artsy college girl finally proves that she is smarter than her professor in the class he is teaching and that if an apocalypse comes, we shouldn't worry about saving humanity, but instead, should all have fun and make art until we all decide to kill ourselves together.

Sajin P (es) wrote: This movie did deliver the epic catchphrase, "Go ahead, make my day."Aside from that, Eastwood's directorial debut of the series turned out to be a disappointing experience.
