When another girl named Orochi saves the girl's mother from a terrible accident a bizarre chain of events is set in motion spanning many years. The atmosphere in their estate builds up until Orochi reveals a terrible truth that the family must keep hidden from the world. Orochi serves as the narrator of the story. Justin A (au) wrote: Maybe it's because I already knew all of the things they talked about (Night of the Living Dead is one of my favorite movies), but I just found the entire thing kind of boring. There were parts I also found a bit odd that I disagreed with like making connections to bigger movies from the 70s that really have zero connection with NOTLD. I also found it strange that there was a teacher showing the movie to a very young classroom. I can't really judge anyone because I was probably that age (or maybe younger) when I first saw it, but I'm not every kid and it seems kind of irresponsible to show it to young children in a classroom and expect them to understand some of the deeper elements of the movie. I didn't really know most of the speakers and how they were experts on film history, so when they're talking about connecting the movie to Vietnam and civil rights it seems a bit forced and annoying.George Romero's insights were really cool and he keeps this as a must-watch for Night of the Living Dead fans. However, as a standalone movie, it's boring. It would make a great extra on a blu-ray set with Night of the Living Dead (or maybe even all of the Romero dead films?), but I wouldn't really recommend it.

Ben C (br) wrote: This movie is too boring to even hate... I have used it over the past year as a tool of hilarity when I see my friends faces when they realize it truly is not any good.

Vincci P (fr) wrote: A masterpiece, plain, touching, humorous and ironic at the same time. The theme is about war, reality and ideal. Without a doubt, it is anti-war but it is also merciless towards the anti-war intellectuals, who safeguard their ideal in prison and leave their family in the real life to suffer. ??, an academic who knows nothing other than academic stuff, but is sent to war. He is good as always, having no difficulties in carrying any character.?????? forever elegant

Bruno L (mx) wrote: Story was good. Bad acting in general. Alec Baldwin desperately needs some acting classes. It was still entertaining.

Paul D (de) wrote: While this is aimed at younger kids, it still manages to be quite impressive...even nearly 30 years later. More for girls than for boys, but it is so well written that any child could find something to like about it.
