Aaron V (gb) wrote: Cat woman is ok not the best film film from dc but it's ok. The things I hated about this film were the action scenes. At times I thought I was watching a PlayStation cutscenes instead of a movie. The cat women costume is ok but I liked the batman returns coustume better. Haley Berry is actually a kind of likable cat women but then again I liked the batman returns cat women better.

Jarvis R (de) wrote: Before watching this film I watched Princess Mononoke, both films have similar situations, but Nausicaa is more futuristic, first of all we dont know what year is it only that is in a very near future, we have polluted so much the Earth that now nature is very dangerous to human beings, insects have grown to giantic sizes and forests emit poisonous steams, theres a princess, named Nausicaa who exactly lives in the Valley of the Wind who cares about those insect and forest, she always tries to avoid killing them, until one night a battle ship, that what makes me think that technology had advansed enough before this happened, crashes and everybody dies but a kind of a rock, which the battleship was carrying, wasnt damaged and it contains a Warrior God, who supposedly were defeated a long time ago, if it is awakened it shall destroy everything, the next day some other battle ships arrive and slave the people of the Valley, in exchange of their liberation Nausicaa must accompany that people to another city, but in the flight they are attack by a boy named Asbel he and his people want to avoid them to wake up the God Warrior so a battle between the insects and the people begins. The story is interesting and has many elements that you cant see in another animated film or a live action film, I've learned so much with this movie, it's strong and powerful, there's no doubt that nature has the true power to destroy us anytime, but we instead of protect it we destroy it, no doubt a masterpiece from Master Hayao Miyazaki.
Jacob G (br) wrote: At its best, Sans Soleil packs powerful images with interesting narration. These images range from the socially casual exploration of Japanese girls turning 20, to the more nightmare-inducing flickering of images from Japanese horror cinema. Which points to the biggest weakness Sans Soleil faces: so much of the film is devoted to Japan that the random excursions to other countries is jarring and alters the flow of the film.It is hard to criticize too much, since these random diversions showcase some of the strongest scenes in the film.
