Lisa K (au) wrote: This is the second Charlie Day film that I have seen this week, purely by accident. I especially liked the Mom, Sally. Her character was warm and real. She had an especially touching conversation with real life good advice on marriage with her son. Josh Groban was very believable as a pastor. I watched this movie on the airplane which was a great way to pass the time.

Wolf V (fr) wrote: this is awesome since it is a movie about Kakarotto fighting a God based on Anubis and a cornish Cat which makes this classic franchise more awesome since Kakarotto has finally become like Superman the character he is slightly based on but hey he is only a god so expect more movies in the future also the show might be coming the next year so more awesome is coming

owen b (fr) wrote: this is actually from the same director as fant4stic. for a low budget found footage movie the effects are pretty good. each kid has their own backstory. Matt wants to help people with his powers and he was the hero. Steve wants to use his powers for fun and was the anti-hero. Andrew wanted to use his powers to hurt people and he was the villain. sometimes during this film, I actually forgot it was a found footage movie. this concept is genius and it surprised me in every possible way.Owens grade: A+

Liam D (es) wrote: Romero's usually pretty sharp with his wit and plots, but this one was just... I don't know. Almost bordering on self-parody. Fortunately it's the only one of the Dead films that I've not really enjoyed. :)

Craig T (ag) wrote: What seems like a bad play has been adapted into what is a bad movie. Streisand is so far miscast that her performance goes round the moon and back again to be the only interesting part of the whole debacle. It's a committed tour de farce (I do mean farce) and by the end I'd wished the film holding the performance had been equally as nuts.

Chris B (ca) wrote: While I have seen only one other of Masaki Kobayashi's films (At the time of this review), Hara-kiri, I have no doubt whatsoever in his mastery as a director. Both films are masterpieces telling of injustices during Japan's feudal era and the enormity of the class differences. Samurai Rebellion which stars the legendary Toshiro Mifune, displays both a touching and emotionally investing film that has perfect balance. For the first hour and a half we are introduced to our characters and the plight that will soon spell disaster. The last half hour is a brilliantly filmed samurai showdown where Mifune truly shines as a man of justice and morality. The cinematography of the various Japanese landscapes and wonderfully detailed traditional Japanese housing really add depth and a sense of being that is hard to replicate. What an amazing and beautiful film to see and be moved by. If you love Japanese films, culture or samurai this is an absolute necessity to watch!

Sam A (ca) wrote: This is probably my favorite Western film (that I've seen which is not many). It is fast paced with enjoyable and endearing performances mixed with cold blooded violence and a climactic final shootout. Though it is not historically accurate and the titular character has very little to do with the actual movie, My Darling Clementine is a must see film for Western fans and normal film fans alike.

Samuel B (gb) wrote: Some crazy over-the-top acting in this one, and really a stage-comedy about stage-actors. John Barrymore reminds me a lot of Kevin Kline as well as Gene Wilder, and this part a few decades later would have no doubt been played by Wilder. Entertaining, but a little too long, could have been a bout 1/3rd shorter and had same effect.

Jamie C (nl) wrote: Good film, Dustin Hoffman steals the show with a great performance, The film itself is Ok but a little silly and forced at times.
