Austin W (au) wrote: can micheal keaten play in anything good besides batman. this film proves no. white noise takes an interesting premise and spits on it with its emotionless performances, dull characters, and cheap scares that make white noise something you should think twice about before buying.

Don S (nl) wrote: From the chintzy CGI to the horrid acting and script, this is a loser throughout. A rogue scientist is bent on cloning dinosaurs without sharing this knowledge with his team. Disaster ensures, in every sense of the word both on the screen and in the story itself. Save yourself. Don't feed your curiosity.

Joseph B (gb) wrote: This film is rude but very real, no doubt it's five star.

Karen L (de) wrote: This movie was released in 1999. It is a classic movie with beautiful scenes and beautiful melody. 11 years later I watched this movie and I am still touched by the story. The melody "Gloomy Sunday" was a sad tune. It casted a dark spell over the world at that time - after hearing the melody people couldn't help but commited suicide. I didn't feel like killing myself but I was deeply moved by the melody. Love, hatred and jealousy were all over the movie. I am not going to talk about the other 3 main characters. I'd like to talk about Hans. In some Jews' eye, he was their saviour. He was as great as Oskar Schindler. Actually he was a greedy man. He saved those Jews because they gave him money. Hans didn't save Laszlo Szabo because Laszlo was Ilona's lover. He lied to Ilona that he would save Laszlo but he didn't. All inside him were hatred, jealousy and greedy. There was a tail. Who was the father to the son of Ilona?

Greg N (kr) wrote: Best movie about Imperialism ever. One of the best Brando performances and the co-lead they found on the island they filmed it on living with his three wives so it has it's own sense of authenticity. Global corporations screwing people over is nothing new that's the lesson here. Plus, it has an Ennio Morricone soundtrack. Anything is worth a look just for including that.

Rick R (mx) wrote: Samurai Rebellion (1967)This is a great samurai film. One of the early ones created from Mifune Productions studio. This film is more of a family drama than an action movie. Isaburo Sasahara (Mifune) is a samurai for a local provincial Daimyo. Isaburo is an excellent swordsman. There's only one other person of his skill, Tatewaki Asano (Tatsuya Nakadai) His talents are what made him a good catch for an arranged marriage, but in peaceful 1725 Japan, his talents are no longer needed. He admits that he's a hen-pecked husband. And when the local Daimyo requests that his son, Yogoro (Go Kato) marry his discarded consort, Lady Ichi (Yoko Tsukasa), he's reluctant to allow this arrangement. Isaburo's Wife, Suga (Michiko Otsuka) has heard that Lady Ichi had assaulted the Daimyo and one of his new consorts, and is not behind this arrangement either. However, a samurai can't exactly refuse his Daimyo and all of his superiors and the family eventually give in to the request. They surprisingly discover that the Lady Ichi is lovely and kind and that it was the Daimyo who is fickle. Ichi and Yogoro grow to love each other and Ichi gives him a daughter. Then the Daimyo's Son dies and Lady Ichi's Son by the Daimyo would be the next in succession. The Daimyo wants Lady Ichi back; but Ichi loves her life with Yogoro. Isaburo and Yogoro put their foot down and rebel.

Ben H (ca) wrote: Fantastic noir with a much imitated twist that some like and some don't. Mirror of Scarlet Street, Robinson's Professor seems resigned to his fate from right after the accidental killing - and Lang maintains the tension for the rest of the film. Brilliant.

Stanley C (fr) wrote: The paragon for Superman movies, with a dazzling script and acting that far exceeds the average sequel and unlike Zack Snyder, having more priority on acting and directing than its' name or special effects. Superman 2 battles the cliche story of a superhero being willing to save the day at all costs in which Superman would rather just fuck Lois than deal with his policeman or soldier-like duties and that the villains (Lex and Zod) don't get along together even with their shared goals because their arrogance and violence ultimately becomes their own undoing. Superman II is surprisingly underrated and in my view, one of the best sequels and superhero movies ever made.
