DeWeY 4 (au) wrote: Well, the acting is decent, anything with McDowell can't be that terrible imo...if i was the one redoing this Well, i prolly woulda had recaps from the actual first movie and Barrymore..the recaps were a little redundant and were actually different regarding Charlies parents deaths and some other things from the original Firestarter.. BUT i haven't read the novel either so can't say to much about that. This movie is LONG, but i wasn't bored with it. All-in-All, I would recommend it to someone who is a fan of the original Firestarter.

Robyn M (de) wrote: Hulk who sticks out like a sore thorn in a finger, attempts to broaden his horizon and try acting in... cheezy kiddy crap.Mr. Nanny isn't only painful to watch Hulks bold spot get smashed in numerous times, he tries to act. Key word tries... The flick is half funny, and completly tasteless it proves that the Hulk himself in desperate times will stupe lower then most would imagine.

John C (fr) wrote: With a very complex story and plenty of surrealistic imagery, it seems to me that this is one of the first if not THE first of the very strange films from the 80's that was meant for kids.

John C (nl) wrote: Not bad but the Alien bit should have been more developed and possibly even had one escaping with Eve

Husnan C (kr) wrote: True cinema at its greatest. Chaplin is a great director and made this one relevant to the time and entertaining at the same time. I do wish that it wasn't completely silent.

Bill F (br) wrote: I find it to be a charming romantic-comedy, but indeed, it is not like the TV series. The washed-up-actor-plot makes it feel like you've seen this again, but Kidman as a witch is simply fantastic! I think she performed her role exceptionally! It is able to offer quite a few chuckles, but it suffers from many used jokes.

Corey B (es) wrote: I have no idea how or why Tarantino liked this movie, I thought it was pure trash with hot chicks, that was the only thing going for it was hot chicks with knives trying to be bad ass which gets old fairly quick. I found none of the characters to be likeable that when bad things happened to them I thought well they sort of deserved it. I stopped watching at the first quarter.

Mike F (kr) wrote: I sometimes forget how good Robert Ryan was. This is an intriguing little western, with a dynamite set-up and a great speech by Ryan early in the film. Unfortunately it doesn't keep the momentum that the story gives it early, but it's still a heck of a film. And, Ginger from Gilligan's Island is in it. HOT!
