(jp) wrote: Interesting movie. Both connected and unconnected. For a 2014 movie, everyone sure smokes a lot.
(fr) wrote: A first rate documentary. I was captivated by this story from start to finish. I learned a lot and was very interested by this film.
(au) wrote: Superb writing. Mesmerized by the "01" at the climax of the story, I think I just became a fan of Mamoru Hosada's works.
(nl) wrote: I'm sorry but, I love Winnie the Pooh!
(jp) wrote: Delicate, for those who like softness
(ag) wrote: I really didn't enjoy this movie at all, I found every actor and actress terrible and I found the storyline really unoriginal. I know people like the actress Mandy Moore and for the life of me I can't understand why because other than the movie Tangled she has terrible movies and I think seeing her in this movie show's everyone how untalented she really is. So I would never recommend this movie to anyone not even to girls even though this is a chick flick, but it's a bad chick flick so to all the females out there go watch a better chick flick.
(mx) wrote: I liked how smart this plot was and how well the chemistry between Pucci and the supporting cast appeared to be so seamless throughout the entire thing.
(de) wrote: An atmospheric drama with boasting excellent character development and cast. Story unfolds well but some flow is lacking due to Freeman's oddball portrayal. Be prepared, however, this is not a lighthearted movie.
(ag) wrote: It wasn't terrible. Vincent Vaughn actually sold me on being a villian, and Travolta is Travolta. That being said it's super duper predictable and the conclusion is so sudden and it's over. Tension is built nicely then it gets way too cheesy and just comes to a quick halt. It was short and relied on 2 leads obviously to make a bang. Vincent Vaughn is the new stepfather with a shaky past who has dark secrets yada yada yada.

(es) wrote: I used to love this movie. I havent seen it in forever though.
(fr) wrote: Most strangely prophetic movie I have ever seen. Truly horrific (funny at times) in its prescience.
(ru) wrote: It could have been a dream come true: Jean Gabin has just gotten out of jail, he's old and wants one last score to set him up in retirement (in Australia). He recruits young Alain Delon to help him rob a casino on the French Riviera. Alas, in the hands of director Henri Verneuil, the result is plodding, too self-satisfied, and wasteful of its stars. The swinging music tries to add zip but it is an uphill battle. I'd say with 30 minutes shaved off, just little cuts out of scenes that run too long (or contain boring and unnecessary exposition) this could have been much better, although not reaching the heights of Touchez Pas Au Grisbi (the quintessential aging Gabin flick) or Le Samourai (Delon's best gangster turn). Still, it looks pretty good in widescreen and you can't knock the set up.
(it) wrote: Rather a unique movie in which an actor plays himself! It's surprisingly very detailed for a 1950s war film - perhaps even too much so. But this is a solid war film detailing Murphy's exploits in Sicily, Italy and the south of France during WW2. And of course the leading man is perfectly cast!
(ca) wrote: Dated, boring, campy, underwhelming, and blissfully unaware of itself, This Island Earth's only redeeming quality in its wonderful performances save it from true atrocity to mediocrity.Verdict: It's watchable.....only if Mike Nelson and two robots provide a running commentary. Seeing as how they've done it and all.
(us) wrote: Predictable (as if the title wasn't any indication of what happens) but entertaining. Standard stranded survivors fare. Lucille Ball plays a Crawford-esque 'round-the-block girl with a heart of gold. And headhunters!
(jp) wrote: It's pretty amazing that this and 'Star Wars' were released within seven months of each other! Close Encounters almost serves as a prequel to E.T., and is definitely a sci-fi benchmark, especially regarding special effects. Dreyfuss is good as the man trying to figure out what he saw (UFOs) and the vision they gave him, even if the goes a little maniacal in the middle of the film. Not too long, and with the final 30min spent at Devils Tower, you see enough of the UFOs, the mother ship and the aliens - as well as all the speculation, fear, tension and bewilderment beforehand. Seminal - definitely holds up after 40 years.

(nl) wrote: The movie, "Open Water", terrifies me more than any other movie I've EVER seen and its probably not even in my top 10 movies of all time. I can't think of a more horrifying way to die outside of maybe plummeting to earth in a 750 MPH uncontrolled vertical dive.
